The Ginger Man opened in Greenwich in August of 2002 and instantly became one of the area’s most popular restaurants. Known for its warm and inviting atmosphere, the Ginger Man is a favorite among Greenwich locals and neighboring communities. Whether you are looking for a quick burger (maybe the best burger anywhere!), sandwich, or salad with friends or an intimate dinner at a table by the fireplace, The Ginger Man offers you a unique dining experience.

The Ginger Man’s menu accommodates people of all ages with everything from grilled cheese to entrée-sized salads and two to three fish selections daily. The restaurant still uses a real butcher from the New York City marketplace to hand pick its steaks and blend that special mix for its famous burgers.

The Ginger Man features 23 taps, 80+ bottles and a well chosen wine list from small and large Vineyards around the world. The Ginger Man’s burgers and beers were voted “best burger” and “best beer selection.”

"I was overall disappointed! It is a fairly pricy restaurant on a main street in town, however it had the quality of "fast food" place with screaming kids running around... Quinoa salad was nice and generously portioned, however chicken Panini dish was almost unacceptable: chicken was dry, obviously overcooked and French fries "soggy", very dark with a bitter taste and totally unappealing (if I did not have a company, I would had returned the dish!). With time, place filled with clients coming for a drink at the bar and, it became so crowded and noisy that we just left. The only good experience I had, was our waiter... I might recommend this place with reservation but I doubt that I would like to try it again myself."

Great crowds. Great food. Great service. Come for brunch, lunch, dinner and late-night dining at KTCHN, where our Executive Chef serves modern American cuisine, fixed in tradition and inspired by the seasons. Brought to you by the founders of the famed Eatery in Hell's Kitchen, we have the perfect setting for the perfect occasion. Get social with our large communal table and our spacious luxurious banquettes.

"The Kitchen has extended the Restaurant Week menu till the end of August which I though was nice but with many limitations in dishes. We however enjoyed a "regular" dinner menu with absolutely delicious Chicken Tajine and Pretzel Pork!! Chicken was perfectly seasoned with hot spices and so tender and juicy that it was melting in my mouth, served with couscous, dried fruit and crispy vegetables and, nicely presented. Big portion of apple salad could had served as a meal on its own. Nice cocktails (I recommend Twisted Ruby) but limited wine list....Overall a very nice dinner!"

"Good deal on three course pre-fixe menu (mine included Fig &Olive salad, yellow fin tuna and pot de cream, all for $45 and tasty). However, Bouillabaisse offered quite a small portion with only a few shrimps and (may be, could not tell) a scallop and was not worth the price ($29). Very busy even on a weekday and with "spotty" service. We however enjoyed it."

A New York landmark with Guastivino tiled vaulted ceilings. There are two dining rooms open for reservations and walk-ins. The oyster bar, lounge, bar, and counter seating are open to first-come first-serve customers. There are 450 seats for you to choose from and we offer 25-30 varieties of the freshest oysters and seafood.

"Extremely busy and noisy on Saturday night, yet not deficient in quick service! Clam chowder was too thick and creamy for my taste and contained almost no clams but grilled sepia (specialty of the house that night) was excellent. Oyster and clam bar offered a lot of choices from different regions and was constantly occupied by clients, with some of them waiting patiently in line to get a seat at the bar. An unusual experience and fun!"

"Unusual experience at this one star Micheline restaurant! We took four course menu's (for $88, reasonable price for such high end place) and left feeling... somehow not quite "full". All courses very elaborately created and looking gorgeous and, it was a definite feast for our taste buds and eyes but they were sized quite small! ( our son came home and had a plate full of vegetables and fruit for a.. second dessert). Anyway, it was a great experience, definitely something to cherish and remember!"

"This restaurant located at Saks on the 8th floor offers a nice view of some landmark buildings in Manhattan, if one can get a table near the window during very busy lunch hours. As for the menu, there are quite many choices from which special lunch break deal seems to be the smartest and includes choice of a soup, sandwich and small salad. Service is sufficient but on a slower side. Very convenient and comfortable place to rest and dine during shopping and not only."

Avra Estiatorio is a restaurant that transports you to the Greece of your imagination. The sky is vivid blue and the air is drenched with sunlight and the aroma of freshly caught fish grilling over an open fire.

"Very crowded and extremely noisy! But if someone cares more for food than for conversation, then there are plenty of great Greek dishes to choose from. Sushi tuna on a bed of avocado and grilled octopus (which could be an appetizer or entree portion) were both excellent. Grilled squid stuffed with four cheeses however was disappointing because strong flavor of cheeses almost "buried" the taste of delicate squid. Terrific Greek wines for sure! It is a "come back" for us but next time we try an earlier hour when place is note that crowded yet. Amazing service in spite of being so busy!"

"Very nice and convenient way to enjoy an evening at the Metropolitan Opera: an elegant dinner before the performance and dessert during an intermission. Menu is not that large, however the quality of food is wonderful! My dish of diver's scallops with bok choy and Miso sauce was excellent: scallops were cooked to perfection, succulent and simply melting in my mouth! (too bad they were only...two) and, Budino with rhubarb and strawberry sauce was a great "finale". Expensive but a very special treat and, this time I did not feel "rushed..."

"In the heart of Manhattan, across from Lincoln Center, this place gets very crowded very rapidly, especially in the pre-theater time! Nice coctails to start with and then, pre-fixe menu with three different choices or regular a'la carte, all moderately priced (my hanger steak was super tasty and perfectly cooked). However, the service became "spotty" as Bar filled up and it was hard to get our glasses refilled with water. Tables outside also had a 100% attendance in spite of a little "chilly" weather."
