Vincent Guerithault, chef/owner of Vincent on Camelback, is considered by many to be Phoenix"s culinary prize. For almost 30 years, Vincent has been combining his expertise in classic French cooking with Southwestern ingredients to create a unique blend of flavors that has become his signature. His style is constantly evolving. Critics note that his food is always "intriguing and inspiring." Patrons say it's sumptuous. Vincent was the first chef ever to receive a Citation of Excellence from the International Food & Wine Society. He has enjoyed countless commendations, including the James Beard award as "America's Best Chef: Southwest" and the prestigious Chevalier de L'Ordre du Merite Agricole on behalf of the Republic of France. In 2003 Vincent's on Camelback was placed 24th on the World's Top 50 Restaurants by British based Restaurant Magazine. Zagat has ranked his restaurant "most popular" and "best in area." "Vincent's continues to be a wonderful place for a quiet romantic dinner. I've been coming to Vincent's for a number of years and I'm always rewarded in doing so. The only negative I can say is that over the years Vincent's has done very little to update or brighten up the atmosphere of the restaurant which is badly needed to compliment the wonderful dishes they prepare nightly."

BRIO (meaning "lively" or "full of life") is a "polished casual" restaurant serving authentic, northern Italian cuisine. The subtitle, "Tuscan Grille" is descriptive for a menu that features oven-roasted steaks, chops, and seafood; similar to what one would find in an authentic ristorante in Tuscany. "The food at Brio's has great taste, but very little meat is provided in most dishes for a premium price........$21.00 for a bowl of pasta with very little shrimp and lobster, maybe 1/2 cup of cut up fish was included in the pasta and the lasagna is meatless! Would recommend to a friend who wasn't worried about cost or that most all dishes have very little meat included."
