"The steaks are delicious and pricing on the high end - Service generally is great- but this visit our wait person did not go over anything on the menu- a bit disappointed that we were seated in the "lounge/bar" area that was noisier with football on the TVs. I let the hostess staff know that we should have been asked if it was OK to seat us in the bar or if we preferred to wait for the dinning room- as I had had this reservation for a special night out - when you spend easily $100.00+ per person you expect a little more than a sports bar table."

This is a favorite Saint Paul dining destination since 1975. The Restaurant is housed in the turn-of-the-century Dacotah Building which lies in the heart of the historic Cathedral Hill District. W. A. Frost has incomparable ambiance and rare old world character. It boasts several grand wood-burning fireplaces, a charming old bar and the European-style garden patio and garden bar and lounge. The new American cuisine at W. A. Frost is derived from an eclectic mix of ingredients meticulously sourced, with a very strong emphasis on local small farmers that use organic and sustainable practices. Minnesota's best wine list, best outdoor dining in the Twin Cities and the most romantic restaurant are just a few awards received.

"This establishment never fails to disappoint! The decor, the service and the food are top notch! We dined early on New Year's Eve and enjoyed the gorgeous holiday decorations in their full glory. ( I had wished I had captured them on my camera.) The wine list is extensive, the choice of entrees and starters varied, We began our meal with the Cold Smoked Ocean Trout with pastrami spices, whipped horseradish, pumpernickel, crouton, pickled red onion, cabbage sprouts- tastey! I had the Roasted Cod Roasted w/ vegetable chowder, potato parmesan hash cake- generous portion & delicious. My husband ordered the Pheasant breast and sausage- glorious!!! We will definitely be back and recommend highly."

Patrick's Restaurant and Bakery features the best of French and American cuisine. Located in the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, the restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with a selection of the finest pastries available in the Twin Cities. The menu offers Coq au vin, Beef Bourguignon, Steak Frites and Escargot. But classics alone do not make up Patrick's menu. Grilled Salmon, Sea Bass and other coastal selections are available to tantalize your taste buds. Start and finish your dining experience with a tarte flambé, as an appetizer or dessert. A taste of Alsace awaits you. Prefer something a little lighter? Try one of our many creative salads. Patrick's famous Patou burger is a fabulous choice, just one taste of the Patou burger and you are instantly taken away to Paris. Patrick's also offers a wonderful selection of French and California wines, creative cocktails and rich coffees. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at Patrick's is an experience that always leaves you wanting more.

"Great idea for a restaurant(Bakery/Bar/Restaurant-French)- from the concept and location- but miserably failed. Despite great service, the food was bad. We each had a $20.00 meal that tasted like it was microwaved from frozen- bland and mushy. Very disappointing. Best part was the Happy Hour price on the wine and our friendly server."

"This is THE place to dine in Mpls if you are a "foodie". I cannot say enough about the wonderful meal we enjoyed last night. The 5 Course Tasting dinner is the way to go. Very fun with a group. Enjoy a leisurely meal and experience new tastes together. Although an expensive evening- it was an event that will be remembered and left us all wanting to come back. Huge wine list. Great service and nice to have on-site parking."
