"A group of 4 of us dined early on a Sunday evening. We had a reservation and it appeared that we were about to be seated at a nice, round table near a window but ultimately found that a group that had walked in pretty much demanded that they be seated there (they arrived at the same time as we had but were in front of us in greeting the host(ess)); we ended up with two 2-person tables pushed together and it worked out. Food was great. Service was very good."

A slightly more modern feel than our original location. delicious Belgian cuisine and beer, whether you are in the mood for a Trappist, Abbey or Sour Ale, we have got you covered. Our Beer menu is carefully selected by our expert beverage director and we pride ourselves on the fact that we serve beers that you would be unable to find anywhere else in NYC.

"A group of 4 of us came for beer, food and to watch the US-Portugal World Cup match. The place was packed, with most people there seeming to be interested in the game. The beer selection was as good as we had hoped (and we had high hopes!), the food was very good, and the atmosphere for watching a World Cup game was fantastic. I'm not an expert on Belgian beers, but I thought the selection of drafts was great, and there were many choices in bottles. The Sunday "all you can eat" mussels is a great deal, and the endive and chicken entrees were delicious."

"For a Yankees fan, this is a wonderful experience. The decor is, obviously, Yankees themed and provides great talking points. The food was terrific, from appetizers of ahi, beets and bacon steak to the main meat entrees of filet mignon, porterhouse and ribeye. The ribeye came with the bone in and we were able to request a name be etched in the bone - we got Paul O'Neill! All of the steaks were cooked perfectly to order, and the meat was scrumptious. Dining here is not inexpensive, but I think it is in league with other NYC steakhouses in terms of price and for us - as Yankees fans - the experience was exceptional."

"A group of 3 of us dined on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was busy but not loud, allowing us to visit easily. We had been here with a large group (18 or 19) a year and a half ago, and we have been looking for a chance to return. We were not at all disappointed with our return visit. The food, once again, was outstanding and the service was great."

The Garrett Hill Ale House provides top-quality selections in a casual neighborhood tavern atmosphere. Start with something from our full-service bar featuring more than 100 unique craft beers, wine or liquor. Then choose from our mouthwatering menu selections including featured items like the Queso Fundido to start, or the Quad of Sliders that includes Duck Confit, Braised Short Rib, and our Grass-fed Beef Burger. Sundays we offer a full brunch menu starting at 11a.m. featuring our very own BeerMosas. We also feature beer dinners and Meet the Brewer night.

"Three of us met for brunch just after the bar opened on a Sunday. The breakfast wrap, roast beef sandwich au jus, and Reuben all were good. Service was great. We pretty much had the place to ourselves and it was great for talking and eating a good brunch."
