PRESS is the perfect wine country dining experience. PRESS features prime dry-aged beef, whole roasted chicken, grass fed Sonoma lamb, and fresh fish prepared on a custom wood burning grill and rotisserie. The modern farmhouse style blends with the neighboring vineyards to create a truly modern steakhouse. An award winning largely Napa Valley wine list completes the PRESS experience.

"Everything is great here, especially the house made breads! Don't pass them up. And if you want a special treat, order the flight of bacon! Seven different bacons to try! It's not on the dining menu but can be ordered off the bar menu."

Solbar, our casual yet sophisticated restaurant, is part of Solage Calistoga, Napa Valley’s most innovative resort and spa. Relax in the bar with a custom cocktail and a panoramic view of the Palisades Mountains or sit on the patio to enjoy a local wine and take in the scene at our 130-foot swimming pool.

In the Solbar kitchen, we are pleased to offer you a choice of lighter dishes to enjoy guilt-free as well as more decadent ones in which you can truly indulge. We go to great lengths to involve local producers whenever possible and to let the California seasons dictate our menu.

"The food is delicious here and worth dining here. The problems we had were the staff slamming the side door and using a sweeper that squeaked during our dinner. It was very disruptive."

It’s impossible to mention great dim sum in San Francisco and not hear about Yank Sing. Founded by Alice Chan in 1958, son Henry started wrapping dumplings at age 9 and moved the business to 49 Stevenson in 1974 where it became an instant financial district favorite. Today, a third generation of Chan’s continues the family tradition, creating nearly 100 items each day to roll out on the trolleys. One of the best things about Yank Sing is the vast array of both traditional and modern dim sum known as the “creative collection.” Try Grandma Alice’s famous chicken and mushroom dumpling dotted with garlic, water chestnut, and cilantro. The classic shu mai are the best in town.

"I am always up for trying new things, so while in New York, why not try Russian food! I love caviar so that was great, yet the billini's were way too large and buttery so they took away from the flavor of the roe. The Elk meatballs were delicious. I liked the piano player in the dining room, but it was a little too loud."

"The Rusty Pelican is very consistent, delicious seafood. I love their King Crab legs!! It has a nicer view if you sit upstairs where the bar is, although the seating is first come, first serve. There is live music on the weekends I believe at 9pm. It's a casual fun place."

"This restaurant had a lot of people complaining about the service when it first opened. And I had to agree, it needed to improve greatly. And, it has! They have done a great job. Our waitress was very friendly and even offered to de-bone my chicken dish. I love the food here and will happily go back time and time again."

Established in the heart of Palm Springs since 1973, Le Vallauris located at the foot of San Jacinto Mountains has been the highest rated restaurant in the Palm Springs Valley since its inception. Owned and operated by the well known restaurateur Paul Bruggemans who was also owner of the Famous Le St Germain restaurant in Hollywood. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 and was owned by the owners of the famous Desert Inn which was The hotel in the Valley. Many grand parties were held in the house for guests such as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and many more. It was a favorite place for General Patton when he was based in Palm Springs to stage the Battle of the Bulge during World War II. Later on, when the restaurant was established it became a favorite place for Presidents and the Hollywood elite. The renowned Patio lined with Giant Fichus trees is THE place to dine. The Patio is cooled in the Summer and heated in the Winter.

"Whenever in Palm Springs Le Vallauris is always on our list of restaurants to go to. There is a beautiful outdoor patio that is below a cluster of large, lit up ficus trees. Even if it's warm out they have air-conditioners that cool down the patio. It's lovely! The food is absolutely delicious and the menu is on a dry erase board that sits on an easel. It adds to the charm! The waiters are in tuxedos and provide superior service. I highly recommend this restaurant."
