"I figured the service needed to go through the opening jitters but it hasn't improved. With as many people as they have working there, there is no excuse for inattentiveness. The food is really good but this time they forgot to add the hazelnuts in my salad. How does that happen? It is a beautiful restaurant and I really hope it does well but please train your staff."

Selanne Steak Tavern, owned by Anaheim Duck great Teemu Selanne and located in a quaint, historical building built in 1934, features an upscale casual neighborhood tavern and a traditional steakhouse. In addition to the best steaks in Orange County, the Tavern offers great burgers, small plates, salads and appetizers as well as an extensive wine list, great specialty cocktails and craft beers.

"Every time I have come here I have had an amazing experience. The atmosphere is so beautiful. The service is so friendly and fabulous and the food is delicious and perfectly done. I highly recommend this restaurant!!"

"There were certain things that were really good, like the pesto sauce to dip your bread in, the two different carpaccio's that we had which were heirloom tomatoes with Burratta cheese and tuna with fennel, but the pizza was not good. The crust was mushy and the sauce too salty. I don't know if they were using a different flour but it was not as good as it was in the past. It also was so loud we could barely hear each other talk. They definitely need to work on that."

"I think the food is really good here, but all the other issues involved make me not want to come back. Every time I have made a reservation I wait at least 30-45 minutes before we are seated. This is NOT ok. For this reason I gave the one star for service. Once we were seated our waitress was friendly and did a good job. It is very loud in the back area of the restaurant so I always as to be seated in the front area, but I am always seated in the way back. Does the restaurant even look at special requests??"

"This restaurant reminds me of the old school, Rat Pack type of atmosphere with a Continental menu that truly delivers! We really enjoyed our time and will definitely be back. The food is delicious, especially the prime rib. It was nice to hear the music from the lounge as we ate our dinner."

"I kept hearing that the restaurant is beautiful, the food is great, but the service is terrible. Since the restaurant just opened a few months ago I like to give a little time for them to work the kinks out. I've eaten once in the bar/lounge area and once in the outdoor patio area. Both times I have had really good service so maybe they are figuring things out. I do hear if you go during happy hour or on the weekends expect a very long wait to order a drink in the bar. Hopefully they will work that out."

Whether you want to enjoy the simple perfection of a Margherita, or something a little out of the ordinary, your pizza will be made with the freshest ingredients possible and cooked just right in their 800°F wood-burning oven. But it’s not all pizza at Michael’s Pizzeria. They also offer delicious appetizers, salads, entrees cooked and served in cast iron skillets, and of course, an excellent selection of beer and wine. Michael’s Pizzeria is where people go to “try pizza for the very first time.”

"The pizza here is true, authentic Italian pizza. They even serve the pizza uncut, just like in Italy. You can request it cut if you would like, but the reason they don't is because the steam from being cut causes the crust to soften quicker. Although, the pizza is so good it won't last too long on your plate! The other dishes on the menu were delicious too. I had the braised Oxtail with Gnocchi. It was very good, but also very rich. The atmosphere is very casual and it is located within an outdoor mall which can be misleading with all the chain restaurants around. I would highly recommend this restaurant."

"I have been here twice now. Maybe I need to give it another try, but I'm not impressed with this restaurant. The food that I have had was bland and just didn't have a 'wow' factor. The service was not great, just ok. The atmosphere is just ok too."
