Selanne Steak Tavern, owned by Anaheim Duck great Teemu Selanne and located in a quaint, historical building built in 1934, features an upscale casual neighborhood tavern and a traditional steakhouse. In addition to the best steaks in Orange County, the Tavern offers great burgers, small plates, salads and appetizers as well as an extensive wine list, great specialty cocktails and craft beers.

Innovative, energetic and creative Japanese fusion cuisine!
Welcome to Okura Robata Grill & Sushi Bar.
The Japanese-fusion restaurant has entered the Laguna dining scene with its own style and specialties.
Okura has its beginnings in La Quinta, where award winning Executive Chef, Jin Heo has overseen the kitchen for the last seven years. He brings his expertise to Laguna.
The main dining room and lounge interiors offer soothing earth tones and subdued lighting. The music is lively and sets the tone for a vibrant scene. There’s also the covered and heated patio. Sake is a favorite and there are several to choose from the eclectic wine, sake and beer list.
With their approach to a friendly, accommodating, well trained and knowledgeable staff serving the best sushi and entrees using only the freshest ingredients, Okura is sure to be around Laguna Beach for years to come. So come in and see what we are all about… Irashaimase!
Tra Vigne is a ristorante set apart among the vines, creating the illusion of an enchanted Italian village. Behind the ivy covered walls are Three distinct environments: The grand dining room with 30 foot ceilings and a hand-carved bar, the courtyard with alfresco service, and the Magnum Library for special events. Chef's creations from antipasti to pastas, entrees and desserts pay passionate homage to traditional Italian cookery. The restaurant's extensive wine cellar features Napa Valley vintners and Italian varietals.

"Very good food, service and ambience, but why is it when I make a reservation and request a certain table and area to be seated the restaurant disregards my request and attempts to seat us in a less desirable area when a table we requested is open? I end up asking to be seated at the table I requested and 9 out of 10 times we are moved. Very frustrating."

PRESS is the perfect wine country dining experience. PRESS features prime dry-aged beef, whole roasted chicken, grass fed Sonoma lamb, and fresh fish prepared on a custom wood burning grill and rotisserie. The modern farmhouse style blends with the neighboring vineyards to create a truly modern steakhouse. An award winning largely Napa Valley wine list completes the PRESS experience.

According to Zagat, Suckers for sake swoon over the "hidden jewel" near Grand Central offering a "mind boggling" selection of rice wine "categorized by region", as well as an "understated, quiet" setting reminiscent of a "private club"; those in the know say it's "secret location" (in the basement of an office building) make it better.

"This is a gem in NYC!! It is traditional Japanese. Not a sushi restaurant, only hot and cold dishes that are beautifully prepared and with deliscious flavors. It is down below a building with a not so pleasant stairwell, but don't be fooled. The decor is traditional and casual and the service is great!"

Dedicated to food, drink, design, and community. Workshop Kitchen + Bar is Palm Spring's newest gem in the heart of the Uptown Design District.
Located in the Class 1 Historic El Paseo building from 1926, Workshop’s Industrial chic interior gives the historic space a contemporary edge befitting the locale.

Our kitchen is based around seasonal products from local farms, so the menu changes often. Although "Americana" may best describe the style of our food, influences are many. Favorite techniques in the kitchen include our wood-fired pizza oven, wood-fired grill, and custom sous-vide station.
The bar looks mostly to American classics and carefully homemade basics. Original cocktails vary with the market's availability and our bartender's mood.

* Please note: Booth seating is limited and is reserved for parties of 3 - 6. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but make no guarantees. For special requests, please call us at (760) 459-3451. *

Established in the heart of Palm Springs since 1973, Le Vallauris located at the foot of San Jacinto Mountains has been the highest rated restaurant in the Palm Springs Valley since its inception. Owned and operated by the well known restaurateur Paul Bruggemans who was also owner of the Famous Le St Germain restaurant in Hollywood. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 and was owned by the owners of the famous Desert Inn which was The hotel in the Valley. Many grand parties were held in the house for guests such as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and many more. It was a favorite place for General Patton when he was based in Palm Springs to stage the Battle of the Bulge during World War II. Later on, when the restaurant was established it became a favorite place for Presidents and the Hollywood elite. The renowned Patio lined with Giant Fichus trees is THE place to dine. The Patio is cooled in the Summer and heated in the Winter.

"I love the food and ambience here! It really is great! My issue in the past has been the attitude and service from the hostesses, bar staff and waiters. I think they are starting to listen to people's reviews because it has gotten much better."

In 1912, at the bend of Forest Avenue, 23 year old Joe Jahraus opened the Laguna Lumber Company, he and his father(cigar maker, first postmaster and real estate agent) built the beautiful French Normandy building that is here today. Prior to the lumberyard opening, building supplies needed to be dragged in by mule or floated in on the tides, and therefore, Laguna Beach had less than three hundred permanent residences. After the lumberyard opened, the area began to grow at unprecedented rates, transforming it from a tent town into a thriving city. Laguna Lumber operated for seventy three years, sixty two of them in this location and its' architecture, influenced by Joe's tour abroad in World War I, is one of the most significant influences on the town's aesthetic. Half timbers, mud walls and shingled roofs grace many of the downtown storefronts and homes throughout the city because of this landmark. Today, 384 Forest is home to Lumberyard - a contemporary American restaurant.
