"We found ourselves in Cincinnati, wanting to find somewhere special for dinner to celebrate a significant anniversary ... except it was Easter Sunday, so Cincinnati offered very few choices. Thanks to OT we got to try Capital Grille. We've been to many fine establishments around the world, but this experience really impressed us. From the great wine selection (no, they didn't try to guide us to the most expensive bottles), to the outstanding, melt in your mouth steaks, to the attentive and engaging, but not overbearing, serving and wait staff ... Capital Grille impressed us and checked all our boxes!! Then, just when we thought they had done all they could, they surprised us again ... exceeding all expectations. Thanks and bravo!"

"We were visiting town, had an urge for Japanese. Didn't know what to expect, so it didn't disappoint. Unlike our excellent, and always busy, home town Japanese, this was very quiet, only a couple of other diners. Went with just shasimi and rolls, our normal choice. Both were good, the shasimi was not quite melt in your mouth ... the rolls were OK, but not the spectrum of taste we're used to. We did chuckle when the server opened the bottle of wine using the corkscrew through the foil cap and then didn't give us the chance to taste first ... maybe they don't get a lot of wine drinking diners. Good, almost there ... there must be better Japanese in Cincinnati."

"We have dined at a number of Ruth's Chris establishments around the world, this was a repeat visit to their Asheville location.
A number of people dismiss Ruth's Chris as "just a chain" ... we disagree. Certainly there is a consistency in their great style and presentation, but their size ensures they have the best quality food. The staff address you by name - a nice touch. Our food was outstanding, we had their ribeye and filet, great pieces of steak that were perfectly prepared. Their wine list is extensive, but also has a large mark-up over retail, so even a reasonable bottle is expensive. Not very busy, but that also meant we didn't feel rushed ... and could take our time to enjoy a great meal."

"We have been to Chophouse 47 a number of times, the steaks are the best. This visit was on a Friday evening, a little later than than the main dinner rush ... while it was somewhat busy, things were quieting down.
It took quite a while before anyone came to take our drink order, then another long wait before the wine bottle arrived. They took our food order as they poured the wine. We had almost no wait before the appetizers turned up, even before the bread, followed by an inappropriate rush to clear the plates and bring our entrees. The streaks and accompaniments were up to their usual high standard, so it was a great meal, but we left feeling rushed ... clearly the shortest time ever at Chophouse 47, despite the long initial wait."
