LVTRE's Reviews

Made.LV is a contemporary American Tavern from Elizabeth Blau and Kim Canteenwalla, the Las Vegas based couple behind local's favorite Honey Salt. Drawing from the tradition of neighborhood social establishments committed to good food, good drinks, and good company, Made.LV features a menu of Chef Kim's inspired comfort food favorites complemented by Elizabeth's signature healthy touch. The bar is shaking classic and creative cocktails and pouring a rotating selection of craft beers. Ample patio seating, retro arcade games, a club-sized bocce court, and curated playlist all help make Made.LV a fun and vibrant community destination.

Expertly blending traditional Mexico with creative interpretations of local and seasonal ingredients is the inspiration behind Mercadito restaurants. Spanish for “little market,” Mercadito is modeled after the markets chef Patricio Sandoval shopped at while growing up in his native Mexico. His muse is the cuisine of the southern region but when mixed with his own style he creates authentic dishes with an added flair.

Our Fisherman's Wharf seafood restaurant is steeped in a family tradition of quality and service. Still family owned and operated, Scoma’s opened in 1965, when brothers Al and Joe Scoma took over a six table coffee shop serving fishermen on the wharf. Using their mother’s recipe collection, the Scoma brothers' humble café evolved over the years becoming the quintessential San Francisco dining destination it is today.

"We always return to Scoma's on our annual trip to San Francisco. The petrale is divine (and so is the rest of the menu) and the service is friendly and unhurried. A gem."
