The Henley Park Hotel welcomes you to The Tavern at the Henley Park (Formerly known as Coeur De Lion), a favorite among the DC locals. This restaurant is adorned with a stunning skylight atrium, ornate chandeliers, and a natural brick face. Our Chef offers a diverse New American menu featuring the freshest regional ingredients. For a less formal atmosphere we offer a light Small Plates menu in the Blue Bar. We also offer a Formal and Royal Tea, served in our beautiful Wilkes Room by the fireplace, or, in any of our luxurious private suites.

"The Tavern at the Henley Park has arisen phoenix-like from the ashes of Coeur de Lion, the somewhat pretentious restaurant formerly inhabiting the same space, and it's an improvement in all respects but one: the great "maitre diva," Ralph Fredericks, is no longer there to assist and entertain. Ah well. Ralph may be gone, but the service people remaining are friendly, knowledgeable, and very efficient, and the food is, if anything, better than it was in the old days. ."

"Our lunch at Taj of India was perfectly fine but not exceptional in any way. The restaurant is roomy and quiet -- a very good place for a conversation. I may return to try one of their more complex dishes, but the vegetarian platter was not particularly inspiring."

Osteria Morini pays homage to the casual and rustic cuisine and ambiance of the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy. Osteria Morini is a casual Italian restaurant from Chef Michael White. In Italian, “osteria” means a place where the owner “hosts” guests, and at Osteria Morini, Chef White continues this tradition of hospitality, transforming his first Washington, D.C. restaurant into an authentic, old-world osteria with soulful food from the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy.

"Our third visit to Osteria Morini -- this time for an early weekend lunch -- more than met our high expectations. Creativity plus lack of pretension equals a fine dining experience. Delicious food; warm, efficient, unobtrusive service; and a great river view -- what more could one ask? Order a pitcher of house wine and you won't be disappointed!"
