Patina is Short Pump’s go-to spot for an independent culinary establishment. Our menu, created by Executive Chef Mike Ledesma is truly a unique "farm to fork" experience. A menu that is hearty, flavorful and beautiful cuisine that focuses on Virginia's farms, offering local fresh produce and farm raised meats. We are passionately committed to offering the freshest, safest ingredients, presenting a seasonal menu, that is locally focused and globally artistic. Everything is made from scratch. "A superior meal with an array and variety of menu options. The rack of lamb was fabulous and cooked to perfection. It was exactly the medium rare temperature I orderd. The oysters Rockefeller were divine. It was a slight twist on an old standard. Beautifully executed. The casual and unobtrusive feel of the restaurant was appreciated. It was a perfect setting to share a two hour meal with a old chilhood friend. We ha a great time."

Zio Ristorante, offers dishes influenced by flavors of the Mediterranean as well as seasonality. Lunch includes paninis and grilled pizza specialties, from a traditional Caprese, to a Crudo topped with prosciutto, stracchino cheese and arugula. Chef Max always uses the freshest ingredients and builds his menu around the seasons. Homemade pappardelle with lamb ragu & a glass of red wine will nicely round out the meal. A selection of meat and fish entrees will remain as choices as well. The dinner menu is organized by antipasti, soups/fresh salads, pizzas, pastas, as well as a tantalizing selection of meat and fish dishes. Signature dishes to start include the Riso al Salto, a crunchy saffron risotto cake, bone marrow, and gremolata sauce, to the Polipo e Panelle, a grilled octopus, with chickpea cake and chicory. "The service was excellent and attentive. The polenta special was the best I've had. My lamb chops were done perfectly. I enjoyed everything."
