Strega Waterfront at Fan Pier is now open, making this the second Strega in the Boston area, with the original being on Hanover Street in the North End. This new location features two fireplaces as well as three separate private dining rooms, a lounge, and a wine room.

"very pricey. Not sure it's worth it, but for a special occasion or an expense dinner it was good. Very jammed in and crowed for a place that charges that much."

Blue Duck Tavern, a contemporary neighborhood restaurant, invites its guests to gather and celebrate in good taste with a menu focusing on the freshest ingredients available from local purveyors and artisans. The menu notes every farm where the main ingredient for the dish was raised before its journey to the table. Dishes are genuine, time-honored and traditional -- slow roasting in wood embers, braising, preserving and smoking techniques bring the true flavors of America's great, simple and wholesome foods to the Blue Duck Tavern.

The restaurant has an elegant residential feel through the open staff pantry and kitchen, wood-burning oven and the showpiece Molteni range.

*Please note that for diners bringing in wine, a $35 corkage fee (per 750 ml bottle of wine), with a limit of two bottles, will be charged.

Michel Richard's modern American brasserie, and winner of the 2008 James Beard award for best new restaurant is located on Penn. Ave NW between the White House and the Capitol. We serve Michel's tribute to great American cuisine, both modern and classic, with a French accent. A vibrant bar scene with boutique beer and wines, and modern and classic cocktails.

"I always enjoy going here, but the food wasn't that good this time, and it was loud and frankly just jammed packed. I have great memories of going here, but for a business lunch with five, it was just loud, food that was so rich it wasn't edible.
I'll stick to going here with my wife at night and having a glass of wine. Not sure this place is worth it anymore... sorry."

"I was hugely disappointed in our experience at the Sea Pearl. It was loud, felt sticky, had people stacked everywhere, cost a fortune for what it was and the food was just slightly above a buffet. Actually, I would have preferred a buffet because I'd have gotten to serve myself and it would have been better service.
I think if I was going with a my kids this would be a fine place. Reminded me in fact of those cookie cutter restaurants at Disney. Unfortunately, my wife and I went here on date night. Huge mistake. HUGE.
Wait till they close this place and go to whatever replaces it."
