"We were attracted to Latitudes for the beach location and convenient parking (it's a Marriott). While the location is great the restaurant was so-so. Our breakfast was good but not up to the price tag it came with and our service was slow. Nice place if you're not too picky and want the ambiance of eating on the beach."

Sometime about 1870, the Peacock family looked for the perfect spot to plant their roots. They discovered it in what came to be the village of Coconut Grove. Now, nearly 130 years later, we're planting a verdant tropical garden on this very ground. The Peacock Garden Cafe is our vision of the quintessential Coconut Grove restaurant. We're perfect for a delicious meal, a quick snack or maybe just an aperitif or glass of Proseco in our beautiful garden. And why not? Our chefs craft only the best and freshest ingredients, adjacent parking is abundant and inexpensive, and our environment is lush and lovely.

The Peacock family thought so.
And you will too.

"I would recommend this place if you enjoy a beautiful setting and don't demand expert service at all times. Peacock Garden is in an absolutely beautiful setting with an amazing patio and great history behind the building and it's former owners. This backdrop is ideal for a great restaurant but it's not up to it's sister restaurant's (Jaguar) level yet. We made reservations for a 9:30 dinner and were warmly greeted by the manager/host who gave us our pick of tables outside. Our server Tyler was polite and enthusiastic but was obviously new to the job. The menu is not extensive so it seemed reasonable to think he would be able to answer questions about the dishes but he seemed to know very little. When asking for our drink orders he suggested their "great house gin & tonic"- what? My wife wanted a Caipirinha which is a common bar specialty in Miami and he had never heard of it. The manager came over and his description of the drink was delightful- and it proved to be every bit as good as he made it sound yet this drink wasn't even listed in the cocktail section of the menu. My food was very good and while Tyler seemed new it was obvious he was trying really hard so we appreciated that. Despite being promised that we would not be rushed with our late reservation, they did turn up the lights well before the promised 11pm time frame so that was a bit frustrating. We had just eaten at Jaguar for lunch that day so we had high hopes for Peacock Garden that evening. We had a pleasant time and enjoyed the food but they could definitely benefit if they could get some coaching on the finer points from their counterparts at Jaguar."

Jaguar's unique philosophy incorporates menu items showcasing traditional tastes and textures throughout Latin America. Signature items feature traditional favorites with a contemporary flair from Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Chile.

Jaguar’s menu offers a broad canvas of spices and ingredients with perfectly balanced presentation of each dish to showcase its individuality.
"We absolutely loved Jaguar! The food was excellent and Alexander was an outstanding server. We ate outside for lunch but would love to go back for the inside atmosphere sometime- very cool place. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Coconut Grove!"

BRIO (meaning "lively" or "full of life") is a "polished casual" restaurant serving authentic, northern Italian cuisine. The subtitle, "Tuscan Grille" is descriptive for a menu that features oven-roasted steaks, chops, and seafood; similar to what one would find in an authentic ristorante in Tuscany. Located in Easton Town Center, minutes away from Port of Columbus airport. BRIO's philosophy of "to eat well, is to live well" is why they only use the finest and freshest ingredients. BRIO brings the pleasure of a Tuscan country villa to the American city. To learn more, go to www.BrioItalian.com.

It’s more fun in the RA with lively music, a vibrant crowd, inventive cocktails and innovative Japanese fusion cuisine. Whatever you choose, it’s all served with a big side of Anything Can Happen. So bring your friends or make new ones. Either way, you’re in for a great time.

"The Tavern Kitchen & Bar is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent evening with a special someone or a group of friends. Service is absolutely top notch and the food is every bit the equal. The seafood is always super fresh and I've yet to have a dish that wasn't prepared perfectly. The tasting boards are a bit pricey but perfect when you just can't decide and worth the extra money. If you have someone you don't mind sharing with, the tasting board paired with one of the great sides is perfect and economical. If you're on the fence this is the place you should choose..."

A member of the Francesca's Restaurant Group; Davanti Enoteca is a wine bar that offers shareable plates of rustic Italian cuisine.

After opening the first location in 2010 in Chicago’s Little Italy neighborhood, Davanti Enoteca has expanded with restaurants in Del Mar, San Diego; Little Italy, San Diego; Western Springs, Illinois; and now the newest addition the Courtyard Marriot River North in Chicago. Davanti Enoteca, an Italian wine bar, offers shareable plates of rustic Italian cuisine from pastas, pizzas, and entrees in addition to small plate items such as vasi (mini mason jars with Tuscan toast), antipasti, salads and tableside presentations. Exposed brick and refurbished wood create the ambiance of a countryside cottage in Italy.

When Tony and Kathy Pietoso opened the original Cafe Napoli in 1989, it quickly became a success. So successful, in fact, that it moved to a larger location at 7754 Forsyth Blvd. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli, allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. The restaurant continued to flourish, and in 2008 Napoli2 was born.

Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a facelift inside and out. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 sq ft establishment. Inside the kitchen, head chef Chip Bates was added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

Café Napoli is a must visit when in the St. Louis area, a local hot-spot for athletes and celebrities.
"Nathalie's is an excellent restaurant and if you're looking for something a little different from the standard St. Louis restaurant layout then you should definitely give this place a try. Much of the food is sourced from their own farm so it's fresh and very good. If you want to know more, ask the guy with the beard in the band- he's also one of the farm foreman so you can learn all about it. Great little bar too."
