As sleek as a 1930s ocean liner, yet as relaxed as a dinner on the shore, the Oceanaire provides the perfect setting to enjoy Ultra-Fresh seafood, flown in daily from around the world. Sip a Sidecar in the lounge, sidle up to the oyster bar, or kick back in a horseshoe booth before diving into a sea of Ultra-Fresh fish, including steak-cut Alaskan halibut, seasonal favorites like fresh Copper River salmon or hard-to-find delicacies like true Dover sole or bluefin tuna. Our daily-printed menu will guide you, a wine list as deep as the sea will seduce you, and the world's freshest seafood awaits you at the Oceanaire.

"You can always depend on a reliably good meal at Oceanaire. Our very astute waiter picked up on the fact that I didn't chose the ceviche appetizer because it was cooked. In describing the fish special, cobia, he happened to mention it was sushi grade and was available as sashimi. It was fresh, crisp, and flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity as it was similar to most cooked dishes. That much in a sushi restaurant would have been $150, yet it was priced as the other entrees. Score!! Only negative I have, which happens at some other fine dining establishments in Dallas, is the outrageous cost of valet parking after you've just dropped hundreds of dollars on dinner. Even with validation it still cost too much."

This family-owned and operated restaurant has been serving up Tex-Mex cuisine since 1957. Come enjoy the flavors of genuine FRESH made to order Tex Mex, such as our one of a kind queso, individually grilled crispy tacos, chile rellenos grilled in egg whites, hand made tamales, and made daily Jorge's famous SALSA. All this and breakfast plates all day! Also don't forget to try our made from scratch margaritas and mojitos. Last but not least..dessert..such as our delicious tres leches and creamy flan. We are located in One Arts Plaza, Dallas' newest and exciting addition to the Arts District. Not required but we recommend you make a note on the reservation if you are attending an Art's District Performance. We also reccommend making you're reservation at least 2 hours before showtime. We look forward to serving you!<br />

"Above average Tex Mex fair in an Arts District setting. Evenings tend to be peopled with patrons attending performances at the nearby venues. Shuttle service is provided before and after performances. Jorge's has the best margaritas and the best salsa in town!"

McCormick & Schmick's offers the finest seafood, flown in daily, aged steaks, and hand crafted cocktails. Our menus are printed twice daily, based on availability, freshness, and quality.

"Since the closing of the Dallas location I've missed this restaurant's meals. Reasonably priced and consistently good is what you can expect. Nothing too edgy but still interesting preparations in right-sized portions. Perfect date night establishment. Just wish I didn't have to drive to Austin to enjoy it!"

Centrally located between the West Village and Knox - Henderson areas, Salum is a casual yet elegant and comfortable space composed by Julio Quiñones, one of Dallas’ most progressive young designers. The spacious dining room displays a welcoming palette of brown, green and beige, with a sleek open kitchen as the focal point. Salum combines the intimacy of a neighborhood establishment with the quality of a fine dining restaurant with an atmosphere that is approachable and distinctive yet unpretentious ~ a marriage of vision, passion and skill with the goal of providing its visitors with an extraordinary dining experience. Owner and Chef Abraham Salum offers an array of contemporary American cuisine that combines the highest quality seasonal ingredients with a nuanced use of contrasting and complementary flavors to create a vibrant and visually inviting menu. Menus change once a month. Parties of 5 or more are not available on line.

Casa Rubia at Trinity Groves is the new modern tapas restaurant from Chef Omar Flores and Jonn Baudoin. Chef Omar's menu will spotlight seasonal ingredients taking classics, putting a spin on them and making them with his flair. Catalonia is a favorite area in Spain for Chef Omar so the menu utilizes a lot of seafood. Paellas is a signature dish at Casa Rubia which changes daily. A full Spanish wine list, nice selection of sherries and Spanish / South American beers compliment the tapas menu.

"It killed me when Chef Flores left Driftwood as that was my favorite Dallas restaurant. At least he didn't leave Dallas!! This new venture is excellent, as one would expect from someone as talented as he. There are plenty of sizes of dishes to fit all appetites. The choices seem limitless with veggie, seafood, beef, fowl all represented. You won't go wrong with any choice but be sure not to miss the crispy artichokes nor the quail. It's a seasonal menu so it may be different when you go."

Located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Dallas, CBD Provisions is a spirited Texas brasserie that evinces the growing vitality of the central business district. Developed by Consilient Restaurants, this urban-rustic eatery features modern interpretations of Texas tavern fare from Executive Chef Michael Sindoni, who employs an artisanal sensibility and strong commitment to local and sustainably raised ingredients. CBD Provisions is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week, and serves a complete menu until midnight on the weekends. The Sunday brunch is not to be missed. Menu items range from buckwheat pancakes with local berries and bourbon barrel aged maple syrup for breakfast to BBQ gulf oysters with absinthe whipped lardo for dinner. The interiors, conceived by New York-based design architect Claudia Woods, are equal parts rich and raw-historic brick walls, bronze cabinetry, rustic wood beam ceilings, tufted leather banquettes and antique mirrors.

"The purpose of this meal was to try the Pig Head Carnitas. It was a popular choice as 2 others were visible from our table. While I would caution the squeamish over the visual aspect, this is truly a taste treat one needs to enjoy. It is extremely tender and flavorful, but VERY rich as well. Best to have it as a meal for 4, or better, as an appetizer for 8 as a neighboring table did. The accompanying tomatillo salsa was especially good. They tend to sell out so best to reserve one at the time you reserve your table. It's not to be missed."
