noah's is known for its trademark seafood inspired small plates that places great emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients from the North Fork and East End of Long Island. Our menus change daily as they are created to reflect what’s in season from the local farmers, fishermen, artisans and wineries.

"We were a party of six, and while we were sad we weren't allowed to sit outside (only for parties of 2 or 4), the huge windows provide a great view. Everyone enjoyed their meals, service was great. Ordered two tastes and three small plates to all share, and 6 individual main dishes; left quite satisfied and happy to try so many delicious things. Have already booked another reservation."

Scrimshaw is uniquely situated in historic wharf buildings right on the water in the Village of Greenport, New York. The restaurant setting reflects the history of the whaling ships that sailed from this port in the early years of the 20th century. Scrimshaw's dining room offers water views on three sides and open-air dining on the dock. Enjoy drinks in comfortable Adirondack chairs outdoors or in the bar room with windows that look out on a Greenport boatyard. Although the cuisine is contemporary American, the chef's Asian and international background is reflected in many dishes.

"I enjoyed my dishes whereas my husband did not-- I think he was put off though by our waiter, who was not very knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend the chowder, and it's great for outdoor dining, as well as for a different type of menu than you'd expect in Greenport. For the prices they're charging though, the waiters should have expert knowledge of the dishes. Overall, I'd give it a second try."

"Our waitress came off as rude and unfortunately that clouded our experience. But all of our dishes were tasty-- would recommend the deviled eggs and desserts. I'd go back, just have to make sure my husband forgets about the service-- otherwise, would agree with all positive reviews about the menu and food."

At the Mockingbird Kitchen and Bar (fka Tollgate Tavern), our goal is to bring you approachable New American cuisine using fresh, vibrant seasonal and local ingredients. Locally sourced and globally flavored we strive to present well-balanced dishes with flavors ranging from subtle to bold.
The tavern is a casually elegant restaurant located in a beautiful, 270-year old historic home; the Captain Bull Tavern listed on the National Historic Register, on the 10-acre Toll Gate Hill Inn in the northwest corner of Connecticut, just 45 minutes from Hartford and 2.5 hour’s drive from Boston and New York.
"Well silly me did not realize the menu on opentable is still for the Tollgate Tavern, but my husband was pleasantly surprised by the Mockingbird menu when we got to the restaurant, and he is a very tough critic and excellent cook. The service was outstanding, and all the plates seemed really interesting. Had a nice meal and would go back next time we're in Litchfield."

Since welcoming its first guests in 1773, The Red Lion Inn has earned a reputation for outstanding food and genuine country hospitality. Those traditions are continued today by Executive Chef Brian J. Alberg, whose kitchen features contemporary cuisine that is rooted in the region's history and harvests. Emphasizing the use of fresh, local ingredients and a huge proponent of buying locally and sustaining the region, Chef Alberg regularly updates the Inn's menus to reflect the bounty of each season. Guests choose from the elegant Main Dining Room, the cozy Widow Bingham's Tavern, the casual Lion's Den pub, or, in warmer months, the flower-filled Courtyard. The wine list offers 450+ selections, and has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for ten consecutive years; Sommelier Dan Thomas helps pair wines with meals. *The Inn accepts reservations for the Main Dining Room only.

"It was a beautiful day but we opted to sit inside to get the full Red Lion Inn experience. Our server was friendly and the service was very good. We were expecting more of a brunch menu, but enjoyed having a heavier lunch. Our dishes were very good, and their salad dressing is memorable. Would definitely go back on future Berkshire trips."

The stunning reincarnation of New York's original 1959 Brasserie showcases the award-winning, ultramodern design of Diller + Scofidio. Executive Chef Luc Dimnet's menu demonstrates a bold use of flavor giving an unexpected taste to classic French brasserie fare. Savor traditional dishes including Onion Soup Gratinèe and Maine Bouchot Mussels Marinière or modern plates like Gougonettes of Cod and Long Island Duck Breast Confit.

Visit our other great restaurants by clicking on the link below.

The Patina Restaurant Group

"Had good reviews on opentable so thought it was worth a try for a Saturday brunch to celebrate mother's day. Everyone did the prix fixe and really enjoyed every dish and the drinks. It's a cavernous environment so probably better for dinner or the bar, or business lunch-- but we were very happy with the food and would return."

Voted "VERY GOOD" by The New York Times.

Rive is a French Bistro on the Saugatuck River in Westport, created by Chef Eric Sierra whose Bistro des Amis in downtown Westport was, for a decade, the go-to place of some of the world's best French bistro cooking.

Like the legendary bistros of Paris, Rive is warm, and convivial, a true bistro populaire.

The dining room, with a wrap-around wall of windows overlooks a bend in the river, there is fireplace for winter, and in warm weather there is an outdoor patio that feels like a cafe on the Seine.

With a suave lighting, urban decor and, of course, un comptoir (a bar) serving hip cocktails and wine by the glass, Rive is very much of-the -moment, as popular Parisian bistros today.

"We went on a Thursday night... must have been an off-night for the food considering all the other reviews-- really tough steak, overdone fish, but there is no excuse for the lack of service. They really need a staff training session or something to build cohesion. Won't go back until diners' reviews mention good service."

l'escale, which means "port of call", is a restaurant seemingly lifted from glorious Provence and brought back to Earth on the waterfront of Greenwich, CT. l'escale serves an inventive Provencal menu in an atmosphere that captures the warm sun, sea breezes & evocative scents of Southern France.
"Sat inside and had a nice long three-course dinner (wait staff got the hint and left us alone). All plates were excellent; my husband had the tuna tartar and that was a real winner-- want to go back to order it myself."

"Was looking for a last minute place near Grand Central, and this place had the second highest rating for the area for $$-- couldn't believe it, reviews looked authentic, thought I'd give it a try... and was pleasantly surprised! Excellent and friendly service, many menu options including gluten-sensitive, and tasty food. Went for dinner- after work bar scene was very loud, but everywhere in NYC is loud these days. Didn't leave with a horse voice trying to talk to my dinner companion though."
