Relying on timeless décor, gentle service, and inventive cuisine the Admiral serves delicious food without the restraints of convention. The menu changes daily to utilize seasonal flavors, locally produced foods, and new ideas. Reservations are strongly suggested, although bar seating is available on a first come first serve basis.

"My supper was fine, but my friend's wasn't. Asked for rare ribeye, it was black and crusty on the outside, so hard to cut through. They offered to cook another one, but we waited a little longer than usual for our entrees to arrive, so he chose not to. They did not skimp on the size of the steak, though.
I admire the Admiral's adventuresome menu but I found a lot of strange things added to each menu item that was a deal breaker. Some of those you could ask to eliminate or get on the side.
They have gone to small plate along with the regular entree size, which was nice. I find some items with vinegar have a bit too much on.
Will we return? Yes. I thought the staff supporting the waitress were more on top of things.
