Academe at The Kennebunk Inn showcases the culinary creativity and execution of Chef-owners and Culinary Institute of America graduates, Brian and Shanna O'Hea. This year Academe's Lobster Pot Pie was featured on the Food Network show "Best Thing I Ever Ate," nominated by celebrity chef Cat Cora. Since acquiring the historic inn located in the heart of Kennebunk village in 2003, the O'Heas have dramatically altered the look, the feel and, most importantly, the tastes awaiting patrons of The Inn's restaurant. From first course options to entree and dessert offerings, Academe promises an uncommon yet accessible dining experience drawn from the seasonal bounty of the land and sea.

"We had a great dinner. Especially loved the lobster pot pie. Good service, appealing menu, casual."

Bocanova, located in Jack London Square, features Pan-American food in a lively and colorful setting. Available for all your dining needs, we offer intimate tables in our dining room, a number of communal dining tables for larger parties or if you're in the mood to meet new people, and counter seating up by our exhibition kitchen, when you're in the mood for a show.

"we love the food at bocanova, but are always disappointed with the service. the bar and kitchen are very slow (we experienced a 30 minute wait for our drinks, and a 40 minute break between first course and second course), tables aren't cleared of empty dishes in a timely manner, and getting a servers attention is a challenge. we were going to order more glasses of wine in the middle of our meal, but by the time our server came to get that order we changed our mind because we were already done with our meal."
