Provencal cuisine in an intimate, cozy setting. A zinc bar, banquettes, flowers, and an attentive staff ensure your comfort and satisfaction. Seasonal ingredients and simplicity of preparation distinguish our food.

"The restaurant is charming, like a little bit of the Left Bank in the Village. Staff was welcoming and helpful with wine and food selection. Dishes were attractively presented and tasty. I only regretted my decision to sit in a spot which I later realized left no room for pushing my chair back from the table a bit. The place is tiny."

At Ruschmeyer's, we focus on using the best local farm ingredients, with an emphasis on Montauk's freshest fish.

"The menu was limited, but the food was delicious and healthful. The decor was farmhouse country, making the atmosphere friendly and informal. Our servers were friendly, too, but the food and drink was slow in coming. We were there without our kids, but a number of other families were there with kids of all ages."

The first thing you notice when pulling in the entrance of the Heritage Hotel parking lot is the incredibly unique addition to this Lancaster landmark. To call it a deck or a patio doesn't do this two-story structure justice. Imagine dining in the most impressive tree house ever built. The open layout and the use of the natural environment give a feeling of submersion in nature, a theme that is consistent throughout Loxley's.<br>The inside of the restaurant is unlike anything that has ever been seen in Central Pennsylvania. The massive bar is encrusted with arrowheads and surrounds a tree growing through the center of the room. Ambient lighting on the natural wood walls adds to the feeling of natural splendor. It is the epitome of the dining "experience", mixing Heritage Hill's well-known culinary expertise and exceptional service with ambiance that will leave everyone amazed.

"We were a group of 12, including 3 kids, and were pleased that Loxley's could accommodate our request to eat upstairs. However, the service was slow, our server was indifferent, and the food was tasty but not great. The live music (guitar and voice) was a nice touch, but the singer made every song sound pretty much the same. The setting is nice - especially the outdoor seating upstairs - and drinks were good... when they finally arrived!
My husband and I had eaten here before, and before this event I would have recommended Loxley's. However, given that our entire party was looking forward to the evening and came away disappointed, I wouldn't recommend it now.
