Located in the lovely neighborhood of Carroll Gardens, this new french restaurant offers specialties from the North east region of France, Alsace. You will be able to enjoy the most authentic Alsatian cuisine such as Tartes Flambées & Spaetzles. They also offer traditional french dishes including the soup a l'oignon gratinee, salad Nicoise & steak tartare. Open everyday from 11am to 11pm Monday to Friday with no transition, as well serving a full brunch menu 10 am to 4 pm Saturday & Sunday This restaurant provides a subtle accent to the elegant bistro décor. The lively bonhomie of the bar area warmly envelops guests as they enjoy a cocktail at the bar or dine leisurely while the chimes of clinking glasses and the Art Deco sconces in the dining room invoke the transporting ambiance of a bustling Bistro In the summer, enjoy an afternoon drink on the charming outdoor terrace while experiencing the spectacular urban sunsets and la joie de vivre.

"We first tried this local restaurant on a whim, because my husband happened to be at our front door when someone was placing flyers around the neighborhood. We received a warm welcome from the host, and friendly service from the staff. The food is Alsatian - French with a German flair - and delicious; and there's a nice wine and beer list. The decor is relaxed without being overly casual. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and a fireplace at the back. We were so pleased we took some friends there a few weeks later, and we had an equally enjoyable time."

Provencal cuisine in an intimate, cozy setting. A zinc bar, banquettes, flowers, and an attentive staff ensure your comfort and satisfaction. Seasonal ingredients and simplicity of preparation distinguish our food.

"The restaurant is charming, like a little bit of the Left Bank in the Village. Staff was welcoming and helpful with wine and food selection. Dishes were attractively presented and tasty. I only regretted my decision to sit in a spot which I later realized left no room for pushing my chair back from the table a bit. The place is tiny."

At Ruschmeyer's, we focus on using the best local farm ingredients, with an emphasis on Montauk's freshest fish.

"The menu was limited, but the food was delicious and healthful. The decor was farmhouse country, making the atmosphere friendly and informal. Our servers were friendly, too, but the food and drink was slow in coming. We were there without our kids, but a number of other families were there with kids of all ages."
