Cassis American Brasserie brings to downtown St. Petersburg a concept of “Continental Comfort Cuisine” in the tradition of European Brasseries, yet with the relaxed flair of American eateries and a feeling of “always been there”.

Zinc top bar, dark mahogany wood, oversized framed mirrors, hand-painted three tone cement floor tiles, chocolate brown leather banquettes and booths; Cassis offers casual eating in a comfortable environment.

The dining room opens onto an outdoor terrace displaying a bistro area in the tradition of Parisian style cafes and a dining section in the South Beach style with colorful offset umbrellas.

Open seven days a week for lunch, and dinner, week-end brunch and throughout the day for light fares, coffee, home-made ice cream and desserts, Cassis American Brasserie is an ideal destination for quick bites or leisurely meals.

The last of its kind near 42nd St., Chez Josephine is a neighborhood gem. A tribute to legendary Josephine Baker, this Parisian bistro with live music and tantalizing menu exudes theatrical panache. One of New York's most romantic restaurants, a bit of Montmartre on 42nd St., the landmark jewel sparkles with an intimate setting of red velvet walls, a cavalcade of chandeliers and a blue-tin ceiling. The eclectic menu reinvents the traditional cuisine of the French bistro in an explosion of tantalizing flavor. Jean-Claude and Jarry Baker are your warm and welcoming hosts who treat you as family whether you come before the show, after the show, for a leisurely dinner in-between, or a drink at the zinc bar.

Chez Josephine draws a crowd unlike any other in New York as food critic Bryan Miller noted when he wrote: The dining room is a confluence of the famous and the fashionable, the infamous and unsung-with every shade of skin on earth and indeed you feelthe magic of Chez Josephine.

"Fun restaurant for its rather unique ambience & conveniently located in the middle of theater row. Only been there once for Sunday brunch/lunch menu prior to attending a theater performance. Was disappointed in the Salade Nicoise Tuna. When ordered in any other restaurant, the tuna is fresh & grilled & properly seasoned. Chez Josephine's Tuna Nicoise was canned tuna & the entire dish was opening a can of tuna & making a simply tuna salad. This is not what Salade Nicoise Tuna should be. The Bloody Marys were delicious. The staff & servers were excellent. The next time attending a theater row performance, will to try a different menu offering."

A midtown classic with sprawling views of the NYC. Located in the heart of Midtown, this steakhouse offers incredible service and great food in a beautiful three level space. Known for having one of the city's best wine lists and bar scenes, Del Frisco's is the perfect place for small groups and parties of up to 80.

"Yes, this is a steak house but one who also has an excellent sea food menu. I took my husband there for his birthday gift of a porterhouse steak something we do not have at home. He so enjoyed it thought the steak was prepared to perfection & I, not a steak eater, enjoyed the bass. That was also delicious. The ambiance was lovely, the server was a joy. He was very friendly & professional & had wonderful recommendations. End of meal. Delicious lemon cake with a little happy birthday sign on top. We actually took it home & enjoyed it the next day. Also, the staff acknowledged my seating request & we had the perfect table with the birthday dessert. We will definitely return."

As MH Reed observed in the New York Times in February 2008, “Red Hat is so close to the river in Irvington that when the wind is up and the waves slap the shore, their icy spray covers the riverside path to the restaurant.” The two level, French bistro-inspired eatery is housed in a hundred -year -old factory building that has been transformed to feature an uninterrupted, 180 degree view of the river from the main and loft dining levels. Guests will enjoy the seasonal, Hudson Valley ingredients, as well as French bistro classics.

"Our 3rd time at Red Hat. This last visit was for their New Year's Day brunch. If you are a mussel lover, try the Prince Edward Island Mussels with Frites. - Delicious - Had a wonderful table overlooking the Hudson River with outstanding service. Will return."

X2O Xaviars on the Hudson is Peter X Kelly’s latest addition to the Xaviars Restaurant Group. It sits in the water on the only turn of the century Victorian pier still in use on the Hudson River. X2O’s Main Dining Salon's 25 foot vaulted ceiling and 3 walls of glass frame offers views of the George Washington and Tappan Zee Bridges, as well as sunsets over the Palisades. Guests encounter dishes incorporating classic French technique with Italian and Spanish influences, and Asian embellishments which create a wholly original cuisine unique to the Hudson Valley. The Dylan Lounge is a vibrant, up-tempo space with a sophisticated and playful bent that offers guests more dining options. Guests are invited to sample a variety of small plates and sushi, while dining at the Communal Table, sushi bar, or at traditional banquette and table seating.

"How to begin describing our Christmas Eve dinning experience at X20 Xaviars on The Hudson. First parking was a pleasant experience. Upon entering X20, the immediate ambiance was lovely. The tables are spaced far apart which offers privacy and allows conversation. The staff is friendly, very attentive & so very professional. The menu: Excellent wines and a wonderful menu with excellent choices. As a fish lover, my appetizer of sushi & sashimi followed by glazed salmon was beyond delicious. My husband being more of a meat eater had many choices also & so enjoyed his venison. As it was my birthday, my dessert plate came with "Happy Birthday Diane" written in chocolate syrup. Also, the views of the Hudson & Manhattan skyline are beautiful."
