'Too much is so good, you can't stop eating it. The tandoor-baked breads are not mere swabs for sauce but could be eaten, and enjoyed, on their own; the naan with cilantro and rock salt is terrific, as is the kulcha richly stuffed with minced lamb. Masala Art offers combinations you don't see often around here, but even its more familiar dishes can be revelations. Consider its samosas. They're flakier than a lot of the competition, and their filling of peas, potatoes and sweet raisins tastes fresher, too. A burst of cardamom in every bite helps. In the same vein, soft logs of minced lamb pulse with heat from jalapeno peppers, a shock offset with breezy mint. Pureed spinach is a vibrant green, flecked with corn and rich with garlic...' - WashingtonPost.com

New Upscale Greek Mediterranean restaurant!

Grandma’s and mom’s recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation have arrived here in Rockville.

We as Greeks don’t do anything small; when we gather, we gather big. When we cook; it’s never for one or 2 people, it’s always enough for friends and extended family.

Trapezaria is the celebration of bringing people together with food.

Meal time is the bonding moments we all cherish and hold sacred in our culture.

This, Trapezaria, is what we wish to introduce and extend to our American guests.
"The four of us enjoyed a great meal consisting of a few starters and grilled fish (branzino and rock).
The food was expertly prepared and served and went well with a bottle of malbec. We will definitely come back
and may be we will have room for a desert.

"May be July 5 was an off day for the kitchen (and the surely waiter) but most of the dishes we had were mediocre at best.
July 5 is the restaurant's "birthday" and the menu stated that special food and drinks would be featured but this was news to the wait staff as
none were available. The branzino was quite good and well prepared while the monkfish was not. We ordered the ravioli which the waiter recommended as one of the best dishes on the menu and were greatly disappointed. The sauce that accompanied the ravioli was thick and had a strong objectionable taste that masked the taste of the ravioli. The two deserts were quite good.Overall, a great disappointment and a proof that high cost does not necessarily mean great food.

"We enjoyed a milestone brunch and the food was quite good. The prices for the high quality sea food served were reasonable but $18 for a small basket of various baked items (some good other not so) is over the top. The swordfish was first rate as were the crab cake and the eggs and lox. The restaurant employs a large staff but attention to fine details is lacking and small yet important points are often overlooked."

AGGIO features a menu inspired by authentic Italian classics that utilize sustainable, domestic ingredients treated with classic and progressive techniques, a trademark of all the Voltaggio restaurants. Voltaggio sourced ingredients such as oak-smoked pecorino cheese from Wisconsin, Tennessee hams cured in the style of prosciutto di Parma, specialty flours from South Carolina for handmade pastas and more to transform his dishes into exceptional modern Italian cuisine.

"Overall, the prices are sky-high for the quality and quantities served.
We started with a pasta dish and a lentil salad. Both were just ok but at $14-$16 per order one would expect something
better than a bit of macaroni with so-so meat sauce.
The fish dishes were very good but one would expect a little more than 4 ounces of fish at $30+.
the desert was very good and reasonably priced. The wine selection is quite extensive and also reasonably (mostly)
priced. I tend to think that after the initial euphoria, most people will realize that one can enjoy equal or better food at more reasonable prices.

"Noise in a restaurant distracts from enjoying the food and company.
Here, one has to shout in order to be heard and we did not enjoy it. In addition, the HVAC
system pours cold air from ducts located just above the tables, adding insult to injury.
Overall, the food was just OK. Large portions of various lamb dishes featured as specials of the day
were well cooked but almost tasteless. the dorado was fine as were the string beans. May be withe
a quieter environment the food would have tasted better. We decided to go elsewhere for deserts as we all
developed headaches from the noise.

Jaleo brings alive the spirit and flavors of Spain with a menu reflecting the rich regional diversity of classical and contemporary Spanish cuisine, under the direction of renowned chef José Andrés. Jaleo offers an impressive assortment of tapas, the traditional small dishes of Spain, as well as savory paellas, superb sangrias and a fine selection of Spanish wines and Sherries in a festive, casual atmosphere.

"Lots of tapas are on the menu and it is difficult to know from the description which will likely be a hit.
There are lots of misses (bean salad, tuna, salmon, etc.) and a few hits (spinach, artichokes, etc.)
