"I had never been to Abby Lane before, but only that it was the latest project from a 'celebrity chef'. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was casual, reasonably priced with a fairly wide menu and (at least on the night we were there) very family-friendly.
Tables are closer together then I'd prefer and we were sat closest to the door (even with our OpenTable reservation), but otherwise everything was fine. Service was good, delivery of food was quick (even when very busy) food was good and portions plentiful (spiced lamb sandwich and pastrami sandwich).
I would have no reservations (haha) about returning there for another meal

"Easy to overlook BullFinch's but it's been a mainstay in Sudbury for years. We went Satuday night and were reminded why it's remains a local favorite. The duck was a generous portion verry crispy on the outside, tender on the in side. And the side of sauteed tropical fruit provided sweet counterpoint to the duck.
Also the filet was served ad desired with just the right amount of grill-char on the outside, pink and juicy inside
Also I really liked the idea of 3 2oz 'flights'of either red (all Italian) or white (reislings)"

Pappardella restaurant brings to you the flavors and food of Tuscany. Established in 1983, Pappardella offers a romantic setting of timeless charm with 20 foot ceilings, French doors & a stunning mural of Florence. Menu and service reflect the warmth and attention of the old world, as well as the diversity and techniques of today. we feature homemade pasta, artisanal pizza & other great Italian staples, like chicken parmagian, grilled branzino & scrumptious tiramisu. A beautiful outdoor terrace makes for great people watching in the warm months. Pappardella is conveniently located near the beacon theater, the museum of natural history & Central Park offering lunch & dinner pre fix, brunch & a busy happy hour.

"I'm only in NYC a half-dozen times a year, but I visit Papadella regularly when I'm on the Upper West Side. The food is good, the service fast and friendly the prices reasonable. And altho it's right on Columbus, it has a real neighborhood feel and it's priced much less than some others nearby. Recently I noticed that they have been in business for 30+ years. Good for them. Keep up the good work."

Tavolino is a casual-upscale restaurant serving classic and contemporary Italian dishes. We have twenty gourmet pizzas with a pizza bar at which you can sit as our professional staff perfects their creations. Our wine list has over 100 hand picked selections, eleven of which are available by the glass. We have a full bar where we invite guests to enjoy all items on our lunch and dinner menus.

"always consistent. and even the small portion of veal parm is plenty. I come here every other month or so because the food is great and the wine list changes regularly and I'm always finding something new"

What does creative casual cuisine mean? Exactly what it says. We"re creative, because we reject the same-old-same-old in favor of tastes that are interesting and unique. We're casual because while our food may be worth getting dressed up for, we invite you to come as you are. We're all about cuisine in the sense that our chefs apply high standards of culinary art. There it is. Creative. Casual. Cuisine. If it sounds like your kind of place, then you – like us- are not your average Joe.

"we visited on a Saturday night at 6 PM and it was easier to count the tables WITHOUT children. Nonetheless, to a one, they were well-behaved and altho they could be seen - and heard - it was not distracting. The beauty of a place like NYAJ is that it's better than common pub food but consistently consistent. This is the 3rd location we've visited and while never having been knocked out, have always been pleased. Tho one minor nit from our Saturday night visit while I enjoyed my choose-your-own-toppings thin-crust pizza, I received red onion altho having specified white onions three times to the server."
