What does creative casual cuisine mean? Exactly what it says. We’re creative, because we reject the same-old-same-old in favor of tastes that are interesting and unique. We’re casual because while our food may be worth getting dressed up for, we invite you to come as you are. We’re all about cuisine in the sense that our chefs apply high standards of culinary art. There it is. Creative. Casual. Cuisine. If it sounds like your kind of place, then you – like us- are not your average Joe.

"We eat here fairly often and this is the first time the service was not up-to-par. The food was terrific as usual, my shrimp with pasta with fried zucchini sticks was delicious. However, the amount of attention was lacking and the wait between order and delivery, then the wait between completion and presentation of the bill was longer than we've become accustomed. It won't stop us from returning but it's notable as it's different than most of our experiences here which is usually fine."

Gina la Fornarina is an authentic Italian restaurant featuring specialty pizza and a thin and crispy focaccias filled with delicious ingredients mostly imported from Italy, and when it is possible, organic. Pasta from all regions of Italy and delicious salads are a big part of our menu, but do not forget our daily specials, where we feature delicious fish and seasonal ingredients in our recipes We have a liquor bar and great wines; make sure you try our antipasto platter with a bottle of wine or a carafe of our famous Sangria di Capri made with crispy pinot grigio and fresh fruit. We are always looking for the best quality & value so that we can offer our customers great products at the best price in a very welcoming ambiance.

We would love to help you celebrate your next event: at Gina we offer great party at a very smart rate.

"We had a very nice meal at Gina La Fornarina. Service is quick and efficient. Terrific veal-and-beef meatballs. But next time I will be sure to order the home-made pasta. I had a sample and it was also terrific. Wine list is nothing special, but you aren't paying an arm and a leg either.
And do use OpenTable as this place fills up quickly around dinner time.

"Another nice meal at People's Kitchen. The price fixe is quite a bargain. Lamb Meatballs had a hint of asian spice for a deeper flavor. Pan roasted duck was wonderful, but the winner was Peanut Butter Creme Brulee, served with slices of banana and bacon.
I must report that the service was not what I was used to. Perhaps it was the table of 16 30-something men that threw off the waitstaff, but it took 40 minutes from the time our entree dishes were cleared to until we got in the car. This was not us lingering over dessert & coffee, but a lengthy delay in getting our dessert (one of which was wrong, but quickly corrected), settling our bill and waiting for the valet to bring up the car.
a quibble but not enough to keep us away."
