One of Kansas City's premier restaurants, Café Sebastienne combines the worlds of contemporary art & contemporary cuisine in the heart of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. Chef Jennifer Maloney utilizes the season's offerings & local organic produce in her creative menus.

"This was my first visit to Kansas City. I enjoyed lunch so much at Cafe Sebastian on my first day that I went back for dinner (and a visit to the Kemper Museum, where it is located) on my last night, when I was accompanied by new friends I had just met that day. Food and service were excellent both times. Although KC is famous for meat, Cafe Sebastienne's menu is friendly to non-meat eaters. Both the enclosed terrace and indoor room are very pleasant. I left Kansas City with a good taste in my mouth. Thank you, Cafe Sebastienne."

Chef Bill Telepan acclaimed former chef of the 3-star Judson Grill will serve the very best and freshest of seasonal foods impeccably prepared and paired with an interesting, hand- picked and reasonably priced selection of wines. Ruth Reichl described his cooking as “…extremely eloquent; each of [his] unassuming dishes roars with flavor, and the minute you finish one bite you instantly want another. His direct style draws diners into a vibrant interplay of textures, tastes and colors.” Telepan, an exciting new destination located in the heart of the Upper West Side, will welcome fine dining enthusiasts from around the city, as well as the pre- and post-theater Lincoln Center crowd.

"Telepan's prix fixe lunch menu continues to be one of the best and most delicious deals in town. Beautifully and thoughtfully prepared dishes are served with care but without pretense. The seasonal menu is a menu for all seasons. Can't wait for the next occasion to go."

"I wasn't so sure about going to Boulud Sud unfashionably early during Restaurant Week, but it was a delight from extremely professional and friendly staff and pleasant, uncluttered ambience to first rate fare (even on the limited Restaurant Week menu). Creative combinations of Mediterranean ingredients--grapefruit and halvah!--will bring me back for more."

Acclaimed restaurateur Stephen Starr, of Buddakan and Morimoto, brings casual elegance to the New-York Historical Society with Caffè Storico (Italian for “historic”).

Chef Matthew Oetting’s menu features Italian cuisine rooted in tradition yet refined with modern technique and seasonality. The handmade artisanal pastas are not to be missed. An all-Italian wine list with over fifty labels, twenty of which are available by the glass, accompanies a full bar.

The 74-seat dining destination is located in the newly renovated iconic Central Park West institution.

"First time at Caffe Storico for dinner, having gone several times for lunch. Excellent all around, except for noice level, which is deafening, perhaps because of otherwise beautiful high ceilings."

"Having been to Cookshop a couple of times before, I suggested it to my teenage niece, who came from New Jersey to spend the day. She loved it, and so did I -decor, vibe, service and especially the food. Zucchini chips started things off just right, and things only got better from there. Service was excellent, noise level allowed us to use "indoor voices," and lunch crowd was interesting, with other "intergenerational" groups and pairs. I couldn't have been happier with my choice. I don't live in the neighborhood, but I'll certainly be back. Cookshop + High Line are a winning combination."
