Ophelia's on the Bay is one of Sarasota’s premier fine dining waterfront restaurants. Enjoy beautiful vistas of Little Sarasota Bay, from the floor-to-ceiling windows that line the dining room. Or join us for al fresco dining on our open-air patio, as the dolphins and manatee swim by. Winner of many awards both locally and nationally, including an Excellence rating from Zagat as well as being listed as the number one restaurant in America in Power and Motoryacht Magazine for dock and dine. Ophelia's on the Bay has also been voted most romantic, best waterfront and best restaurant with a view by its loyal customers. The menu changes nightly using fresh and seasonal ingredients, fresh fish flown in from all over the world and specialty meats. There is certainly something for every palate! We feature an extensive wine list, specialty martinis, as well as a full bar. Family owned and operated for over 22 years, we have an experienced staff that prides itself on exemplary service.

"After hearing about this restaurant from friends, we though we would try it. Yes, the view is beautiful, but that is the ONLY saving grace of this establishment. The service was terrible, we had to ask for water, for our plates to be removed, etc. And then, they added a "manatory" 20% tip on the bill.....wow, the audacity! We will NOT be returning."

"If it wasn't for the entertanment, we would NEVER go back there ...the price of the dinner was VERY high for the quality. In ea city of the best food in the world, this cafe needs cooking training....the food was very old fashion and everything overcooked. The service professional."

 eat here - Sarasota
eat here - Sarasota
Eat Here offers chef-driven, American artisan cookery. Our emphasis is on local product and fresh Gulf seafood served in presentations suitable for sharing and tasting. A casual neighborhood place, with a community table, featuring craft beers and wines. The rooftop bar, overlooking the fountain courtyard and the city of Sarasota, features specialty cocktails, classic martinis, charcuterie, and live music. <br />While we are accepting reservations, we also keep tables open each evening to allow lots of walk in availability.

"We were there @ 6:30, so it was pretty quiet. The kale caesar salad had mostly romaine lettuce and tiny shavings of kale/disappointing as other restaurants who offer kale caesar actually make the salad out of kale. The service was amateur, not her fault but no professional training. She would walk right by us without even looking to see if we needed anything. We had to ask her to check on our dinner order after waiting 25 minutes. We won't be going back, as there are too many other very good dining choices in Sarasota."
