Siena Tavern will bring the sophistication and charisma of Viviani’s cuisine as well as the energy of a bustling bar, to the epicenter of Chicago’s dining scene in River North. Combining Fabio’s crowd-pleasing made-from-scratch menu with DineAmic’s success in the hospitality sphere, Siena Tavern offers diners an experience that is simultaneously comfortable, vibrant and social as well as polished. Located at 51 W. Kinzie Street, (intersection of Kinzie & Dearborn) in the heart of Chicago’s River North neighborhood, SienaTavern becomes the fourth hospitality concept from DineAmic Group, which currently owns and operates the highly successful Public House and Bull & Bear properties.

"Hostess was very cordial and welcoming. Bradley, our waiter, was phenomenal with exceptional knowledge of dishes, wonderful demeanor, and fabulous service. I had the Ahi tuna which was cooked to perfection with a very tasty sauce to complement. My date had the swordfish; the best he'd ever had! Afterwards, we had a drink at the bar and enjoyed the live entertainment which was at just the right volume. James, the bartender was very gracious and chatted easily with us. A splendid evening!"

"We enjoyed a perfect evening with friends at the windows overlooking Rush Street. The sushi grade tuna was fabulous! Our server was extraordinaire with expert knowledge of the dishes and ready to recommend wine pairings. The chocolate cake dessert was decadent! The only disappointment was the time it took them to bring the bill... a bit of a letdown after such great service."

From the kitchen to the bar, everything we serve is defined by a passion for exploring unique flavor combinations. Wood is more than a name: our wood-fired oven is at the heart of it all, mustering a dynamic menu of small-plate, American fare, made with the best ingredients the season has to offer. Though the dishes regularly change, they are defined by a few constants: meat is butchered in-house from humanely-raised animals; vegetables are drawn from family farms like Green Acres (North Judson, IN), Three Sisters (Kankakee, IL), and Spence Farm (Fairbury, IL); herbs are picked directly from Wood’s private garden; and all pasta and sausage are freshly made, straight from the Wood kitchen to the plate. We bring the same attention to quality and taste to Backwoods, our late-night Belgian fry pick-up window. Made from hand-cut Kennebec potatoes, twice-fried in the traditional Belgian style, and served with your choice of a dozen different house-made sauces, these aren’t your average f

"We started our holiday evening with guests from the Burbs at Homestead. After an afternoon in the sun, it was lovely dining amid the rooftop garden on a beautiful evening. The stylish heat lamps absorbed the chill nicely leaving us all quite comfortable. All of the food is scrumptious. We highly recommend starting with the bread basket. From there each of us had our favorites... mine was the soft shelled crab, but others in our group were savoring the scallops and the short ribs. The service was stellar!"
