Benoit New York is the third member of Alain Ducasse’s Benoit family – which also includes the bistro in Paris since 1912, Benoit Tokyo and Le Comptoir de Benoit in Osaka. Benoit New York echoes the original bistro in Paris and represents an opportunity for Chef Ducasse to recreate a unique bistro experience within a dynamic urban environment while still preserving the tradition of Benoit Paris. The restaurant & bar offer a menu of classic French bistro cuisine at lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch.

"I'd always wanted to dine at Benoit and it did not disappoint. I enjoyed the pre-theater menu which is typically nothing special, but this meal is on my top ten list. We were presented with delectable little cheese puffs and fine French bread to start. I had the cheese soufflé to start which for a cheese lover is a simple taste of heaven. For the main course I enjoyed a piece of cod cooked to perfection served over glazed orange and endive. Dessert was 3 delicate macarons, crispy on the outside, tender inside as they are supposed to be. For $39 this is easily the best find in midtown. Everyone from the coat check person to the wait staff was polite and helpful. The atmosphere is classic French, lots of red and gold, it felt like I had stepped off the streets of Paris. A perfect dining experience from start to finish. This is definitely being added to my new list of favorites for pre-theater, or anytime. A representation of what dining is supposed to be."
