In a comfortable setting, just across the street from the historic Uptown Theater in Cleveland Park, Ripple offers a complete dining experience, with a focus on sustainability, organic and locally-acquired produce, and a good time. We are proud to support local farmers and co-ops in our mission to bring only the best products to the table.
Our award winning wine list features 50 wines by the glass and bottles starting at $25, with over 70 wines under $50. In addition, we have extensive beer and cocktail menus, to complete any meal.
Above all, we believe in hospitality and hope that everyone who dines with us will feel comfortable and enjoy their time with us. We truly are a place to eat, drink, and gather.

"Ripple offers a lot, from a very large and active bar where you can get a cheese plate, to an elegant dining room featuring seasonal dishes. There's a lot of buzz about the restaurant and the chef who now also oversees Roofers Union in nearby Adams Morgan. While I can't recall exactly what we ate, it was all delicious.
Our server was also the bartender so there were times when we had to wait for service but it wasn't a big deal.
I definitely recommend Ripple if you are in Cleveland Park.

Enjoy Chef Geoff's genuine hospitality and casual cuisine with an Italian flair. Lia’s is a neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Chevy Chase. Come for a glass of wine, hand tossed pizzas, fresh pasta, or charcuterie and cheese, and the result will be the same. You'll be back for more. Join us on Sundays for brunch and every Monday for half price wines. Enjoy our ever-popular happy hour daily from 3pm to 7pm and all night on Monday and Tuesday. An eighty seat patio provides some of the best outdoor dining in the area. We truly have something for everyone and look forward to welcoming you. Cheers! Chef Geoff

"I love Italian food so Lia's is one of two choices (the other being a family style place which is not always suitable). The pasta dishes are sublime, delicate and fresh, while the Caesar salad is one of the best (and largest) I've ever had. Sitting outside on his particular evening was delightful since it wasn't too hot.
I also enjoy the dining room which is cozy but you are not on top of your fellow diners. I've never made it to the bar because it's always packed during happy hour but it's clearly a favorite for the local working folks.
The service is very good, a testament to Chef Geoff's training and management skills.

VOLT offers guests a menu of modern American cuisine. “The focus of our cuisine is based on classic flavor combinations, creating sophisticated dishes that emphasize purity and seasonal flavors that are based on fundamental and innovative cooking techniques.” said Voltaggio. VOLT’s relationship with local artisan farmers ensures availability of products to fulfill the philosophy behind the menu, in a refined, historic venue where classic meets modern. By design, the restaurant follows along the original footprint of the mansions first floor parlors. Both the 38 seat main dining room and the bar/lounge open off the foyer. The original mosaic tile in the foyer was the inspiration behind the warm monochromatic color pallet that adorns the finishes in VOLT. Private dining can be hosted in the conservatory offering views of the expansive courtyard. The 700 square foot kitchen afforded space to include up to 20 guests.

"After repeated visits, VOLT remains one of my favorite restaurants. Housed in an old Federal style bank on a downtown street, you will be treated to superb service and exquisite food. Yes it's pricey but for a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion, well worth the cost. The outdoor patio was tempting but we decided on the dining room, with it's constantly revolving art and quiet elegance.
Had I written this review in May, I could have told you all about what we ate but sadly, I can't remember. It was all delicious.
It might be time to explore other restaurants in Frederick but I'm always drawn back to VOLT. You will not be disappointed.

Bramble & Brine, opened by husband/wife team Megan and Joe Churchman, is a neighborhood gem located in one of Rehoboth"s main street cottages. Originally built in the early 1900's and restored keeping true to its turn of the century charm, the atmosphere is both elegant and inviting. The ever changing, global inspired menu is rich with handcrafted dishes prepared utilizing a fusion of classic and modern techniques. A special chef's menu with meticulously selected wine pairings is available on weekends in a private room for parties of 2 to 12 guests on a first come, reservation only basis and is highly customizable with advanced notice. Antiques throughout the restaurant are offered for sale and provide an engaging setting in what feels like a formal dining room in a home from the past. Be sure to visit the marble top bar for prohibition era cocktails and pour over the extensive wine list. We can't wait to serve you a truly remarkable meal and unique dining experience!

"Dining out during our annual one week sojourn to Rehoboth in July means research. We read about Bramble & Brine and added it to our list. We ended up dining there twice so I have nothing but high praise. The husband (chef) and wife (manager) team have decorated the former florist's shop with all manner of antiques and collectibles, all for sale, so expect a kitschy and charming setting, with mismatched bread plates and glasses. The food is excellent, from appetizers to desserts. Had I reviewed B&B in July, I could have waxed more poetic about the food but I'll just say that we loved every dish and would recommend it highly to anyone who wants a high-end experience. The service was also top drawer, which is not always the case at the beach."

"We discovered the Shorebreak Lodge in 2013 so were eager to return in July 2014. This time we invited two friends who live about an hour from Rehoboth. We shared small plates and had I written this review back then, I could have told you all about the food! I do know that we enjoyed every dish and left nothing but crumbs. Our server was a young woman who seemed nervous and inexperienced but at the beach, we expect variances in service levels.
We don't sit outside since it's usually too hot but it's always nice to have that option.
We look forward to returning in July 2015.

"Food Wine and Co. is one of my favorite restaurants in Bethesda. I enjoy all the menu items, especially the wedge salads which change a little depending on the season, the delicious soup of the day and the various specials. Although I'm not a raw bar fan, having one is certainly a plus. The bar area is large and enthusiastic so unless you like that atmosphere for dinner, ask for a booth or table in the actual dining room. The service is always excellent - attentive with frequent top ups to my water glass without asking (a pet peeve).
The easy walk from one of many public parking lots and the Metro make this an excellent dining option.

Quote as “unpretentious but stylish”, Le Chat Noir, casual bistro-style with Parisian left-bank feel features classic, traditional French cuisine and a large selection of savory and sweet crepes. The Wine Lounge atop Le Chat Noir restaurant pays homage to vintage -- wine-making and a retrospect to Comics Black & White silent films. With an impressive wine list and a wide-range of cocktails for you to choose from, it is a place to share an intimate moment. Cozy home-like ambiance, we look forward to nourishing you and tantalizing your taste buds in our art nouveau inspired Restaurant and Lounge.

"Le Chat Noir is a neighborhood place in Tenleytown/Friendship Heights. The outdoor seating is actually an add-on like a sunroom; climatized, with lots of windows which open in nice weather. On this visit, it was very warm so we chose to sit indoors. The food is traditional and well-prepared; onion soup, hangar steak, eggs benedict for brunch. The wine list is all French of course. The service is consistently attentive without being overbearing. Judging by the groups around us, it's clearly a favorite for multigenerational outings.
In a world where you almost always have to shout to be heard in a restaurant, you will find this charming and intimate bistro a welcome change.

Ted's Bulletin is a real American classic joint with a bit of style - complete with savory homemade food and a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. The fare, though unabashedly familiar, is just like mom used to make but gussied up. Takes on grilled cheese, homemade pop tarts, meatloaf, and country fried steak are sure to please. Breakfast is served daily beginning at 7am. Guests can also check out our homemade pastry case with scrumptious pies, cakes, muffins, and other throw backs like oatmeal cream pies. Bulletin features its very own shaketender and barista, ready to whip up custom milkshakes - with or without alcohol and coffee favorites. Have a classic cocktail made the old fashioned way or your favorite sipping liquor served over one cube from the Macallan Ice Baller.

"This was my first time at Ted's. I love the back story, of the West Virginia man who loved to cook for his family and friends. The quaint names of dishes and drinks was a fun twist, the menu reads like a short newspaper. This is not fine dining and you should check your Fit Bit at the door, but if you want good food and plenty of it, served by enthusiastic servers and without paying an arm and a leg, then you have come to the right place. The daily specials seemed to be popular (we didn't land on fried chicken night but will return another time) and the boozy milkshakes are a treat for dessert.
I'll definitely return!
