"Dinner with a gal pal on March 20 on the early side meant that we were seated in a booth and had plenty of room. We tried a new pasta dish only offered in March which was delicious - shells stuffed with chicken. That plus the chopped salad made for a very satisfying meal. The service was very good and I'll definitely return."

"I've been to Evo Bistro several times and it's always hopping. This time, there was also a group in the private dining room. The wines-by-the-pour are gone but that allows for more room in the bar. The small plates concept is my favorite when dining with my beau. Our waiter was very friendly and a good salesman. Since we dined on February 28, I'm blanking on what we ate but everything was delicious. When in McLean, Virginia, you can't go wrong with Evo."

"A coupon brought me to Slate on March 15, 2014. The menu consists of small plates which is often my preference. Our server was attentive, friendly and prompt. It's a small restaurant and you are very close to your neighbors but for a casual meal, it's worth a try."

"I attended a colleague's wedding here in August, 2013 and had been wanting to return for dinner. A cousin's birthday on February 27, 2014 afforded me that opportunity. My eyes were bigger than my stomach so we took home many leftovers. Loved the dal, the condiment assortment of chutneys and sauces (the cilantro was divine) and the calamari. Our server was a little low-key but it was a weeknight and rather quiet so perhaps he works better when it's super busy. I will definitely return soon."

"It's a splurge but worth it. You'll experience superior service and attentive service. Le Bernardin employs a team approach so after the senior server took our order, the sommelier handled the wine and our main attendant was a young Frenchman who might have been in training. No matter because he was perfect. The food was delicious, artfully presented, very fresh. The dining room is a little dated but it was full for a Friday lunch w/groups of older couples, business types and multi-generational families. I'm not sure I would return given the wealth of riches in New York but I was not disappointed."
