Ardeo+Bardeo, located in the historic district of Cleveland Park and within walking distance to the National Zoo, is a neighborhood favorite serving modern American cuisine. The restaurant underwent a major renovation in November 2010 to enhance the modern bistro and wine bar, uniting the two restaurants with a 24-seat island bar. Executive Chef Jonathan Dearden has crafted a menu which features cured meats, soups and salads, savory snacks, seasonal vegetables dishes and brick oven baked pizzas.

"Disappointed in the cocktails. None were made correctly. Overpriced for what you got. My salmon was rare so couldn't eat. The pizza was more crust than toppings. We went with my son and his girlfriend as they live in Georgetown and had never been. They stated they won't go back. There are many other options available for less money."
