Enjoy traditional and modern versions of classic dishes popular in European-French Bistros at this restaurant adjacent to the LEED Platinum, eco-green Proximity Hotel. The vibrant dining room has walls of windows overlooking the gardens, with outdoor dining on the creek-side terrace. "We ate at the bistro several times during the week, and most of the meals were extremely salty to the point that we had to cut off the outer layer of the food to get to the non-salty part. The bread was good as was the roasted garlic. The desserts were fine.
This season, the restaurant was disappointing. I was really looking forward to coming back here, and since we entertained a lot, it wasn't up to it's usual great standard. The wait staff was very nice, though.
Of all the entrees we tried, the salmon was the best."

Artisanal Fromagerie, Bistro and Wine Bar showcases the formidable creativity and passion of Chef-Proprietor Terrance Brennan who adds playful twists to classic French bistro dishes. Selecting only premium ingredients, Brennan’s commitment to the use of artisanal, sustainable and organic products is evident in the quality of each dish. Recalling a bustling Parisian bistro, Artisanal’s handsome Art Deco interior offers the sophisticated French specialties one might expect in Paris. As the name implies, Artisanal features a scrumptious selection of 250 hand-crafted cheeses from around the world. In the back of the dining room is the cheese cave, a temperature and humidity controlled room, where a number of the world’s finest artisanally-made cheeses are aged to optimum ripeness and peak flavor. Adjacent to the dining room is the wine bar, which boosts 75 wines by the glass.

"The first bite of the skate fish with the blood orange sauce was like an explosion of taste and texture. WOW! Loved it and wanted to go back during my trip to NYC, but alas, no extra time.
European portions are perfect for leisurely dining that allows us to enjoy amazing food without being stuffed.
I'd highly recommend this restaurant. Great service, very gracious especially since we were there a long time for a business meeting."

Located in The Strand Hotel in the Fashion District, The Strand Bistro serves new American cuisine, with contemporary influences. Chef Jason Krantz has created a menu that reflects the influences of his past, with an intuitive nod towards current, and evolving trends. As trends in the fashion industry are forever changing, there will always be those classic styles that remain timeless. Cuisine is very much the same way and Chef Jason demonstrate's this with his new menu.

With a cozy and inviting lounge, a fireplace, and an enchanting fish tank (yes that's right a big fish tank!) the interior is quirky yet comfortable. There is a place to lounge, place to wine and place to dine, and after dinner you can have a cocktail at our relaxing roof top lounge at The Top of the Strand with stunning views of The Empire State Building.

"We didn't eat much because we were focused on the business meeting, but the ambiance was cozy and pleasant, and the wait staff was friendly though a little slow. We would return."

"And I've had a lot over the years! The food was so good that I took my tech team to dinner a few days later and they are now raving fans. Try the crabmeat appetizer and the seafood dish - (Dosa was in the name) - it is a specialty of the restaurant. The desserts were fine, but by the end of our meal, we had such happy tummies that it didn't matter if the desserts were so so. The owner was charming and gracious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals there, and my husband begged me to bring take-home to Denver since I raved about all of the dishes. You'll love it!"

Enter one of our neighborhood restaurants across the metro area and lift your mood no matter the day. Da Noi holds its diners close and keeps life simple. The dining room exemplifies these qualities; dark wood trim contrasts with creamy lemon walls and the open wine racks and cherry wood bar add warmth. Neighborhood sociability is one reason the night is as inviting as the day. The décor and art retain its inviting atmosphere throughout the evening, while the dedicated staff provides you with superb service to compliment the ultimate dining experience.

"It was noisy, but fun. We enjoyed the amazing service, and the food was good - predictable for Italian. We felt as if we were in Italy with the friendly wait staff. Our group had a great time."

"Meaning very small, but very tasty! It was restaurant week, so it could be that the prix fix impacted the restaurant's portion sizes so they could be profitable. I had the rabbit - excellent! My husband also enjoyed his dinner.
The bread pudding was outstanding.
The wine pairing was not worth the price.
The service was great, but too fast, so that is why the restaurant didn't get a perfect score. We barely ordered our wine, and everything was cleared quickly and the next course arrived as soon as the previous one was done. We were in and out in 50 minutes, and it was supposed to be a romantic evening. We weren't asked if we wanted another glass of wine, coffee or an after dinner drink."

Enjoy spectacular dining in The Lobby, which was recently awarded a perfect Five Star review by Time Out Chicago Food Editor David Tamarkin. Experience a memorable dinner featuring incredible dishes in a contemporary yet approachable American style, complemented by live music. Traditional Afternoon Tea is served daily, while the weekend offers a fabulous Sunday brunch accompanied by a vivacious string quartet, together with the delectable "Chocolate After Dark". Children’s menus are available with a variety of offerings.

"Delicious! The bread was slightly sweet and toasted perfectly. My colleague ordered the pasta with cranberries - it was a teensy serving in a huge bowl with a small reservoir. The presentation was nice, but she said the cranberries were just past their prime. She ordered the beignets, and again, the portion was small though tasty. She was ready for a real meal after the appetizer portion.
The wait staff is excellent as expected at the Peninsula. I would return again and order the lobster roll. Loved the tarragon sauce."

"Being an interior designer, I appreciated the decor and lighting though the ceiling fixtures were not in keeping with the interior.
We enjoyed the service and presentation - it was a long dinner after a long day of meetings, but nice. My client loved her entree, I liked mine, but wasn't wowed with it. Skip the brulee and stick with the main courses."

A warm, rich interior featuring Mahogany paneling & Persian rugs, RL Restaurant houses an art collection that reflects & represents a lifestyle vision of quality, integrity & timelessness - the design & cultural aesthetic of Polo Ralph Lauren. The menu is written daily with core items, some prepared tableside, which reflect the Ralph Lauren "aspirational lifestyle." The food is not based on how exotic the chef can appear with his creativity, but on how finely tuned & balanced are his compositions -- renditions of ideas that have a history on the American Table. ****Please note that reservations are for dining room only. Bar and Patio are first come first serve.******

"I travel and entertain a lot, and I was underwhelmed with the food. The chicken was very bland, the mashed potatoes were mushy and bland, and the bananas foster was overcooked (though it was fun to watch the waiter prepare it) and it needed more cinnamon. No comparison with a New Orleans bananas foster.
The interior was decidedly RL. Very understated and sophisticated.
It is a noisy place, so be prepared that you won't be able to hear each other very well."
