"This is a hot spot even mid-week; reservations are a good idea. The menu is both eclectic and interesting, combining lots of basic American comfort foods, pizza, burgers, fried chicken, etc., with an interesting twist on many. The food is well executed and service is fast. It is loud and busy, so not a place to linger or hold a serious conversation, but a decent meal at reasonable prices."

Restaurant Eve has one intention: to bring everything together in perfect harmony - ingredients, cooking techniques, presentation, and that ephemeral, indescribable characteristic that we call soulfulness. Herbs and fruits are gathered from our own garden and everything on our menu has a story, every ingredient is special. We purchase from farms that share our values of quality and sustainability, and showcase the best hand-fed, farm-raised, organically grown bounty Virginia and the surrounding countryside have to offer.

"Restaurant Eve continues to be quite simply a great place to have a dinner. It excels on every measure; first and foremost, the food is delicious, seasonally adjusted, locally (down to herbs from their own garden) sourced, and interesting without sliding over into challenging. I had a squash ravioli followed by exquisitely prepared dove. The kitchen sent out a platter of enticers that included deviled quail eggs (my date was prepared to cancel her order and just gorge on a few dozen of those), parsnips dusted with curry, and rabbit liver. The staff is attentive, helpful, and friendly, without being intrusive. Everything about the experience was ideal. My date's vegetarianism was effortlessly embraced and accommodated. Great place!"
