The traditional Italian fare at Della Santina’s is based upon Quirico Della Santina"s family recipes growing up in Lucca, Italy and his sheer talent as a chef. Recipes include the popular Gnocchi della Nonna, inspired by Quirico's mother. The fresh fish is always a treat.<br />Quirico’s son Robert runs the front of the restaurant and is responsible for the wine selection. He and his wife, Nicole, started the restaurant’s wine club featuring wines from around the world.<br />Walking through the gated entry and down the brick walkway is like being transported back to Italy. In the warmer months, diners enjoy the patio, covered in grape vines and wisteria, and surrounded by balustrades that are planted with assorted flowers. In the colder months, customers enjoy the cozy atmosphere in the dining room, with tables topped with white linens and fresh flowers. The marble fireplace warms the room, while the sounds of Pavorotti and conversation complete the experience.<br />

"From the moment we walked into this restaurant it was an upbeat experience. The room was filled with floating balloons and holiday air. The drinks were delicious and the food some of the finest I ever had. Professional and pace of service all added to a great way to welcome in the New Year. Highly recommend this restaurant."

"This restaurant came highly recommended so we very disappointed in the whole experience. There was lots of wait staff but it took almost 25 minutes for our drinks to arrive. The did not have our salad orders correct and had to redo the orders. My beet salad - at $11. - had 2 baby beets and a hand full of greens. The main dish was very average. Won't go back again...ever!"
