"Gadsby's Tavern is a great place for historical dining. The atmosphere is set to mimic the original late 18th century setting. I would definitely recommend getting there early enough to visit the museum which we missed. The wait staff and management were fantastic! They were extremely knowledgable not only about the restaurant and the area, but also about the history. They were very patient with my daughter who asked a million questions about George Washington. The manager serenaded the family at the table behind us (in Italian) which was a treat. The food was really good, especially considering I expected this to be more of a "novelty" restaurant."
"Restaurant week is a great way to try out new places before deciding they are worth the full price. At Nobu the food was delicious and the flavor combinations inspiring. Restaurant week is never a great time to make a decision on overall atmosphere as most places tend to be quite busy with not the usual crowd. That being said, the tables are quite close together and it was rather loud, making it difficult for our party of three to talk across the table. The wine is overpriced, most by the glass wines being over $15 per glass. The service was spot on with the exception of the entree coming out at just about the same time as the sushi rolls. Overall, very nice place to dine. I will definitely make it a point to return after restaurant week."
