Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients.

"This is the type of restaurant where you expect to be pampered, which is exactly what the waitstaff does. The service worked like a well-oiled machine. The food itself was delicious, especially the seafood dishes. I ordered the tuna strips (the tuna was buttery and light), the crab dumplings (also light and flavorful) and the pork belly (my least favorite, but quite good nonetheless). You can't get better quality for the price you pay here. Truly wonderful."

"Went here because it was close the Metro Stage theater. Although they don't have a pre-theatre menu, the waiter overheard us talking about and made sure we were done with plenty of time to get to the venue. The food is fine."

"We went for the Thanksgiving buffet since it offered fried turkey, which I love, so this might not be representative of the norm here. The food was kept merely warm, not hot. It was all decent, but not nearly as good as expected."

"First of all, the service here from start to finish was excellent. I had a larger group than I'd originally reserved a table for, but the hostesses were attentive and quick to find a suitable table. The menu is very French bistro, but varied enough that even the vegetarian at the table found something interesting. I love the potatoes au gratin and get them every time. They are a MUST."

Fly bar and restaurant was envisioned as a vibrant space within which people can share food and drink while surrounded by local music and art. Fly serves moderately priced plates based on a global cuisine that are deigned for sharing among friends and brought to the table steadily throughout the meal.

"The rooftop bar proved very popular with my group; we loved it. The food itself was nothing special, but not bad, either. I'd say it's better than what you'll find at most bars, but probably not as nice as what you'd get at a good restaurant."

"While the food was quite good, the location was a bit far if you're staying in the Inner Harbor. That being said, if you're willing to fork over $50 in RT cab rides, there are many pluses to this place. The flatbreads looked amazing as they came out of the brick oven. I ordered the pork belly, which was really good. The service was attentive."

"Being Argentine, I've long lamented that DC doesn't have any decent restaurants that serve Argentine food. This place, however, has taken care of that. The meat was delicious, the side dishes equally so, and the appetizers were satisfying."

"Although I made the reservation a week in advance, we were seated at a lonely table in the bar, and not in the dining area. It felt like we'd been exiled. Our waiter rarely came by and we had to hunt him down to pay the check. Given that we at lunch during our work break, it was rather stressful. The food itself was good, though."
