Passage to India serves a great selection of Indian food in an elegant decor, reminiscent of the dining rooms of the Maharajahs. Chef Sudhir Seth introduced the concept of Regional Cuisines of the Indian subcontinent and showcases food from all over India with local ingredients and home blended spices. The restaurant is located Bethesda's restaurant row, just 3 blocks from the Bethesda metro (Red Line).

"Passage to India is like a fine dining experience in a more moderately priced restaurant. There is an attention to detail with service and food. The food is consistently delicious and there is something for everyone be it carnivores or vegetarians."

Under the direction of renowned chef José Andrés, Zaytinya offers an innovative mezze menu inspired by Turkish, Greek and Lebanese cuisines served up in a sleek and modern setting. Shared small plates, creative cocktails and unique Mediterranean wines make this spot one of DC’s top dining destinations.

"Zayinya makes a meal a fun experience with so many interesting food choices that meet the needs of all diners from carnivores to vegetarians. For me, I really enjoy going to the portrait gallery/ American art museum across the street for a visit and being able to readily walk over to Zaytinya for a great meal and conversation."
