"It was our last night on HHI and we were a bit disappointed that we had to sit inside (I didn't specify outdoors so it was partially my fault) but our table was close to the big windows so it wasn't too bad. The food was good, but not great. My filet was a bit fatty but otherwise tasty. The caesar salad was very good and I'm told the lobster rolls were also very good. Some others in the group had the grouper and said it was wonderful. The scallops were again, "good". The service was a bit slow - it took a long time to get our drinks & bread - but our waiter was very pleasant and our meals were brought out quickly. It was a nice place, probably would have enjoyed the outdoor seating more, but it was definitely worth a trip."

Buddakan has been called “a temple of modern Asian cuisine.” But it’s also a testament to the possibilities of inspired design. Upon entering, the first thing one sees is the surreal Asian garden surrounded by multi-level archways and 25-foot trees that seem to grow through rocks, footbridges and the ceiling itself. The dramatic atmosphere and enchanting karma is enhanced by the presence of a gigantic Golden Buddha that watches over the entire restaurant from a head of a 24-foot communal dining room table. The menu portrays an innovative interpretation of Asian Cuisine that matches the ambience in terms of creativity, inspiration and its capacity to satisfy. A delectably imaginative fusion of Chinese, French and Asian styles that results in dishes that exotic yet comforting – all prepared with perfectionist attention to the smallest detail.<br />Buddakan’s spectacular yet dreamlike ambience adds a new dimension to the array of destinations at the Pier at Ceasars.

"We have been to Buddakan many times and it never disappoints. We had a group of 6 and were seated at the large community table in the room. It was nice that we were given the end seats so it didn't feel like we were dining with strangers. We ordered many things to be shared and all were excellent. The chicken dumplings w/the amazing ginger sauce and the lobster fried rice were two of the favorites. I always know that we will be in for a good meal here and that's why we keep going back."
