S3, where sun, surf and sand uniquely fuse with steak, seafood and sushi for a perfect combination of island atmosphere and globally-influenced, sea-inspired fare.
A wood burning grill lights up the place and sets fire to the menu offering Grilled Octopus, Skirt Steak, Jerk Chicken Skewers, Shrimp Toast and more. Let your eyes do the ordering, via an expansive raw bar featuring fresh-caught delights like Tiradito Wahoo and Yellowtail, Snapper or snack plates like a Trio of Dips (whipped feta, chickpea, and roasted eggplants) or Goat Cheese Cakes. A moderately priced menu serves up a variety of small plates

"We had brunch here with delectable little plates amidst an open air restaurant with an ocean view and an open kitchen. Every seat has a great view or you can sit outdoors. We had the chicken salad, the goat cheese croquettes, and the homemade cinnamon donuts. All were excellent. We also tried the banana bread french toast, but that did not work. Banana bread is too dense and heavy for a proper french toast."

Big City Tavern is a busy, vibrant restaurant reminiscent of the great urban taverns of Chicago, New York and Boston. A stylish, classic American restaurant, Big City offers a varied menu featuring dry aged steaks, burgers, fresh seafood, salads and fresh house-made pasta of the day. Some of the more popular dishes are the Pan Roasted Salmon with Tomato and the House-Made Charcuterie. The desserts are all enticing, all house made and all delicious. The extensive wine list emphasizes California varietals by the bottle or glass. With its magnificent grand bar always busy, Big City has a constant din of energy and conviviality. Big City offers outdoor sidewalk dining in the center of the action on Las Olas Blvd.

Please call the restaurant to make reservations for parties of 12 or more!

Executive Chef Rolf Fellhauer - brings his Swiss Continental flair to the menu, which boasts mouth-watering daily features such as Oysters Moscow, Mussels Chardonnay and Grouper Brittany. As always, the emphasis remains on fresh fish from local waters. Don"t miss the completely renovated dining room and the chic new Yellowfin Lounge. In addition, the restaurant introduces tableside service.

"The chef from the former La Paloma is the star of the show here. Same formula, same menu. This restaurant is hidden in the back of a neighborhood mini office complex. It is a small restaurant with a bar. Their specialty is seafood. Great Lobster Bisque with chunks of lobster. NY Strip with green peppercorn sauce was very tasty, the Long Island duckling was dry. Desserts are lackluster."
