Named in honor of the legendary Harlem speakeasy, Chef Marcus Samuelsson brings his passion for food to the neighborhood he calls home.

"We were immediately seated but most tables are pretty close to each other. The food choices are limited but they do that for a reason - good quality and prepared quickly."

"I requested a table by the fire place and we were literally placed at the fire place, which was great when the temperature outside was in the single digits. It had been a couple years since we were here last and not much has changed which was good from an atmosphere and food perspective. The only problem is that I do not need to spend nearly $200 for a meal for 2 people and only 3 drinks. We started with the Tuna Tartar which was very nice. I went with the special of surf and turf which is 3 (3 oz) filets and a little crab, single scallop or 2 shrimp on top. My wife went with the chicken piccata which included spinach. We each added a salad and shared an order of au gratin potatoes. I finished with tiramisu and a cappuccino."
