Located in the heart of Harlem, Red Rooster serves comfort food celebrating the roots of American cuisine and the diverse culinary traditions of the neighborhood. Named in honor of the legendary Harlem speakeasy, Chef Marcus Samuelsson brings his passion for food to the neighborhood he calls home.

"The food is very well prepared. some interesting combinations. pricing for the food is reasonable. Drinks (and the place really focuses on it's bar) are pricey. I didnt select from the wine list after prevewing it on the website. LOUD - high ceilings, tightly packed tables, the bar "right there" (partial boarder only) ans a pretty good jazz band playing makes for the need to speak louly to be heard to your left, let alone across the table. Get a reservation - the wait at 6:00 on a Sunday was 45-60 minutes. The service was very attentive and friendly"
