What if Portsmouth had a fling with a Latin lover? What if mojo filled the streets, steaming with the heat of Cuban, Spanish and, Latin music. What if you could drink a caipirinha on a Tuesday night? Or salsa with someone you'd never met? Welcome to Brazo where the flavors of Latin and South America are completely at home in northern reaches. Its everything an exotic journey should be right in downtown Portsmouth. Viva Brazo!

Bistrot: from Bistrotier (FR) - "A small, chef-owned corner Café serving modest, down to earth, food and wine". <br>Chef Owner Stephan Mayeux (a native Parisian) and his wife Christine invite you to enjoy their own brand of Country French Cuisine in the welcoming comfort of their 1890s home. One of New Mexico’s most highly acclaimed culinary destinations, The Anasazi Restaurant offers an atmosphere that is both elegant and rustically Southwestern. The 92-seat restaurant honors the culinary legacies of the Southwest. Executive Chef Juan Bochenski's innovative style — focuses on seasonal ingredients, fish and the abundance of available local produce with European and southwest influences — is captured in changing menus that fuse choice seasonal fare and regional ingredients. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily.Saturday Night featuring live entertainment with Jesus Bas from 7:00pm until 10:00pm.

Arroyo Vino serves a constantly changing menu of contemporary american "small plates" designed to be shared. The wine program consists of a dynamic by-the-glass list as well and over 750 bottles in the adjoining wine shop. Bottles from the shop, are priced at $20 over the retail price, making it the most fairly priced wine list in the city.

Black Trumpet is a two-story bistro and wine bar in the heart of Portsmouth’s historic old port. Both floors offer views of the Piscataqua River and the oft-photographed tugboats that still escort enormous tankers into the harbor. Our first floor dining room offers a cozy, romantic setting with warm, unassuming service. The upstairs wine bar is a more intimate, convivial space. The menu changes every six weeks to capitalize on the freshest seasonal ingredients. The wine list features a variety of unheralded gems that pair well with the bold flavors of Chef Mallett’s cuisine. Black Trumpet’s cuisine reflects the chef-owner’s culinary curiosity, drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean as well as the Americas. A typical Black Trumpet menu may include influences from Spain, North Africa, Turkey and the Mexican heartland. Reservations are accepted in our dining room, the upstairs wine bar is first-come-first-served.
