Brasserie Les Halles is the home base of Chef-at-large Anthony Bourdain, author of the best selling Kitchen Confidential (Bloomsbury, May 2000) host of the TV Show, No Reservations. Bourdain is also the co-author of the Brasserie Les Halles Cookbook (Bloomsbury, 2004) with proprietor Philippe Lajaunie.

Bustling and lively, Brasserie Les Halles is a typical Parisian brasserie serving fresh and simple dishes of France’s everyday cuisine.

For centuries, the old market district of Paris, Les Halles, fed people from all walks of life with food stalls, restaurants, brasseries, bistros and cafes, open at all times day and night.

"My wife and I decided to drop by and try this restaurant since we had an overnight stay in Manhattan. The food was so good that my wife went back the next morning for breakfast while I was at work. Terrific menu. Very close seating. If you aren't careful with your fork you may end up picking up food from a neighboring table!"

In 1999 our dream to let people experience our passion and love for food came true. Since then our menu has evolved year after year through additions of our creative recipes. We pride ourselves on having developed a contemporary Italian cuisine, which focuses on the quality of ingredients while revisiting traditional Italian flavors.

Open the rod iron gate to a lit dining area and be awed by the beautifully hand painted murals that bring you closer to our Italian culture.

From our wood fire pizza to our signature Black Angus NY strip steak, you'll discover that our dishes are a feast for all of your senses.

Bring your family and friends to join our family. Experience the pure pleasure of savoring a meal, down to the very last taste.

"Found Villaggio Iccara through Open Table as I was unfamiliar with the area. This little neighborhood restaurant is a real gem. One portion of the building is dedicated to a local pizza place and the other portion is set up as fine dining. The owner selected decorations and murals to give a true bistro-vibe. I tried a special - short rib ravioli and my friend had the lasagna. Both were great."
