Casa Luca is Fabio and Maria Trabocchi’s casual osteria celebrating the rustic spirit and traditional recipes of the Marche region of Italy. Whether you are hosting a family event, enjoying a date night, or a working a power lunch, Casa Luca offers many choices to customize your meal.

Casa Luca has unique Italian wines on tap (available nowhere else!) and a cellar selection from Italy, Spain and California. Our approach to wine is accessibility, quality and variety to encourage unfettered enjoyment. Our bar features beers on tap, cocktails a large selection of classic Italian amari – including Varnelli and Meletti, both from Le Marche – and other digestivi, as well as grappa and many other Italian liqueurs.

"We dine often at Casa Luca and thoroughly enjoy the variety of options such as sitting/dining at the bar, or outside, or here and there throughout the restaurant. The greeting is always polite and gracious. We like their in house made pastas that are always more imaginative than red sauce and meatballs! The wind menu is also interesting, in that they have carafe wine but also several bottles of >30 red and white. The main wine list is very expensive. The owner, Fabio, now has 3 locations--it seems a good time to stop and keep all three in the top tier."

"Frank Ruta provides one of the finest cafe environments in Washington, with a menu that is dynamic and inventive--much more than what you see at most places. There is great care in the cooking, and everything arrives in perfect shape. We had quite a range of food--pastas, chicken, and his classic cheeseburger---everything really excellent--and the pinot noir we drank was also outstanding."

"B Too is well appointed and has a very genuine Flemish menu complimented by a talented kitchen that turns out really good food. We like the mussels, but many other items are also excellent--especially--for instance--frog legs, potato rolls, various fish, Belgium waffles with lobster or salmon or meats. So--for sure--we really like B Too and its friendly, accommodating staff including the notable bartenders!!!"

"It is really impressive to visit such an authentic restaurant, true to its Belgium roots, including the Chef du Cuisine who is almost always there. The night we were there, there were several visitors from abroad, and they all felt at home. The food is quite good, and the variety of beers truly outstanding. HAPPY HOUR is one of the best in DC. Worth a journey to dine at B TOO!"

Residing in the restored Reynolds Italianate Building on the Canal, Casa Del Barco is Richmond's singular destination for authentic Mexican cuisine. Executive Chef, Todd Richardson, blends several generations of recipes from his León, Guanajuato roots with his innovative flair for creating memorable mouthfuls using local ingredients from sustainable farms. Complementing Richardson's culinary fusion, Beverage Director, Michael Avery, has compiled the most extensive stock of tequilas in the region.

"Although it is a bit difficult to find this restaurant down on the canal walk, when you get there it is bright, energetic and well stocked with every mexican drink on the planet--I never saw so many bottles. we dined at the bar on a very slow day and had excellent food and drink and service. Folks in Richmond should flock to this place--it is really good!"

"We have dined at Casa Luca twice and really appreciate the entire concept. It is well balanced between the bar, the design/layout, the service and the food. For those who know the regions of Italy, the food will gain your respect, and at a decent price. They also have a selection of designer drinks--quite innovative, and dessert is simple excellence."

"We have visited B TOO twice now and found all the kitchen preparations to be high quality and quite tasty. I also like the atmosphere with a drinking bar up front and a food bar (seats ) right in front of the kitchen. I understand wine list is being revised, but it is a good one for this style of restaurant. I like going here, and I understand they also have a very decent Happy Hour. Service staff needs better discipline to increase the tempo of their attention to customers."

"We dined on a very cold night at a very small table for 4. Our waiter was very pleasant but not very knowledgeable about the range of expected service. Food was certainly fair to good, but not at memorable--I want to go back soon--level. The restaurant has a named chef which is a good sign---and now I would suggest a visible dining room manager checking on guests and progress, might upgrade the experience for their guests."
