"The meal here was OK, but not by comparison with other upscale steakhouses. The prices were as high as the competition, but the portions smaller. Service, decor ... nothing special. The location is interesting, however, atop Nob Hill, but that does not justify eating at Osso."

"My objection is that the kitchen tries too hard to be creative and just ends up being weird. And weird is expensive here."

AAA’s Westways Magazine calls Villa Royale’s Europa Restaurant “a charming hideaway where you’ll feel as if you’ve been transported to an intimate castle in Europe.” Europa offers the very best in fine dining in Palm Springs. In fact, for ten consecutive years, AAA has given the restaurant a 4 Diamond Rating, The Wine Spectator has given Europa award after award and Zagat Guide has offered their highest endorsement.

"This is an unusually pretty place, consisting of several rooms charmingly set at angles to one another. The decor is traditional, largely European, but with some Chinese elements that actually blend in harmoniously. Our waitress was friendly, but maintained a professional attitude, as she should have. My pork shank was deliciously tender, and my wife enjoyed greatly her duck. I just wish I had discovered Europa earlier. Happily, we have a home not far away and can return often."

Since 1980, Anton & Michel has consistently maintained an award-winning reputation for true excellence in the art of fine dining. A complete interior remodel in 2013 features handset stonework throughout and an expanded lounge. The floor to ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of the Court of the Fountains. Zagat Survey calls it “Carmel’s long-standing paean to graciousness in dining out". Along with updated and contemporary changes to the menus, ultimate table side service and spectacular flambé desserts remain. As quoted in the Wine Spectator, Anton & Michel is “probably the best dining experience in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea”.

"You will always have here a very good meal. The tables by the windows looking onto the brick courtyard can make your dinner a special one."

Cellini’s culinary style of chic simplicity produces a menu of astounding freshness and creativity. We began with a masterful rendition of cornmeal polenta wedges with masses of slivered shitake mushrooms and a calamari salad garnished with beans and scallions, each set off with a hot, homemade foccacia, augmented with sliced crusty Tuscan bread. We next chose panzotti-supple half moon pasta filled with fresh, crisp vegetables lightly bathed in a delicate porcini mushroom sauce. A unique tubular pasta stuffed with the freshest fish and spinach under a seasoned fish stock was enough to show us that each dish here has its own personality, and is densely concentrated with flavor.

"In another city, this would qualify as a good restaurant. But it does not rank high among very many good choices for Italian food in NYC."

Persepolis Is a Persian/ Mediterranean restaurant with a dynamic atmosphere and 20 years of experience! The restaurant is famous for verity of kebabs and refreshing salads and gently spiced grilled meats. The yogurt and cucumber blended with a little mint is made exceedingly well and is an ideal cool compliment to Persepolis’ rounds of Pita & Barbari bread. Our kebabs which include moist and delicious salmon or saffron chicken are served without heavy sauces. Instead they are served with a choice of four rices including an intriguing blend of Basmati rice and marinated sour cherries. Our personalized wine list truly compliments our cuisine. We also offer a full classic bar. <br />We look forward to seeing you!

"This restaurant is not bad, but dinner here will excite you neither with the food nor the decor. If you live nearby, it is a reasonable choice for a weekday meal out."

Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. The menu features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 16 ounce New York Strip and a 12 ounce double cut filet.

The Pelican Club, offering a wide range of fabulous New Orleans dishes, consists of three dining rooms and a large bar fashioned from a handsome, 19th-century French Quarter townhouse, rising from the corner of Bienville Street and Exchange Place in the heart of the French Quarter. Owner, Richard Hughes, and his wife, Jean Stinnett-Hughes, transformed a neglected architectural gem into a welcoming restaurant decorated in a crisp blend of traditional and contemporary. Each room has its own ambiance, created with such diverse elements as burnished Louisiana cypress, contemporary paintings by New Orleans artists, antique prints, and the dramatic contrast of black-leather banquettes against cream-colored brick walls. Such an atmosphere is sure to make your meal feel like a truly New Orleans experience.

"I have dined now twice at the Pelican Club. The first time was as a change from the more renowned restaurants in New Orleans, which usually occupy all my time on visits there. I was not expecting a comparable experience at the Pelican Club, but I found that I liked it as much as my dinners at Arnaud's and similar restaurants. It is now on my list of favorite NOLA spots."
