"I loved the sea bass. It was delicious. We were driving back to Toledo and found the Columbus Fish Market on Open Table. We had never been there before. I will definitely go again!!!"

French country bistro...Between Montecito and Santa Barbara, Stella Mare's Bistro is located in a historic Victorian home overlooking the Bird Refuge. "Our food was delicious. However, the service was something to be desired. We were given a dirty dish and they seemed to take forever to bring a clean one. Even bringing us the check took too long. The restaurant was not full at the time. It just seemed like they did not have enough staff available. I would like to give it another try because it is such a beautiful place."

Fresh, local ingredients, prepared with care. Excellent wines that reflect the quality and character of our region and work in concert with the cuisine. Warm, inviting ambiance, service at a relaxed, leisurely pace.<br />Santa Barbara ‘Wine Country Cuisine’ means we source our ingredients using an ‘as-fresh-and-as-local-as-possible’ approach, with fish from the Santa Barbara Channel and produce from the surrounding countryside. We then take into account how these flavors can be presented in concert with our local wines. I believe you’ll taste the difference and see how well they work together.<br />We believe Santa Barbara is producing some of the finest Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. Other locally produced varietals will surprise you with their quality, variety and approachability. Please ask your server for recommendations on how any of our 40+ wines by the glass match up with your selections. Bon Appètit!

"My husband and I each ordered fish. I ordered the walleye. It was delicious. However, there were only 2 small pieces. It was on a HUGE bed of mash potatoes. I would have rather had it on spinach, as I don't eat potatoes. I forgot to ask them if there was an alternative to the potatoes. My husband ordered the bourbon salmon with orzo. It was delicious and the size of the salmon was adequate. The asparagus that came with each dish was delightful and tasty. The caprese salad with the reduced balsamic glaze was amazing. I will definitely come back again. The jazz in the background made the evening perfect. Thank you!"
