Located in downtown Sacramento, America's Farm to Fork Capital, Grange is a culinary expression of all things local, reflecting the authentic essence and soul of the community.

The menu showcases the market-driven bounties from the state and is best described as simple, seasonal and soulful. Organically raised meats and poultry are complemented with the freshest produce available from the Central Valley, while sustainable coastal seafood is paired with a spectacular all-California wine list. The entrees are presented in a straightforward American brasserie style. Lastly, enjoy the creations from our pastry chef such as rustic artisan breads and desserts.

This Sacramento restaurant’s setting is both classic and authentic. The two-story space combines architectural elements from the building’s rich history with exposed beams and concrete columns to create a surprising and urbane, loft-like atmosphere.

"The only place I know of in Sacramento to get food like this. The Chef is inventive and the staff are well versed in how the dishes are prepared and more than ready to answer any and all questions. On this last visit we were seated upstairs where we had a very comfortable corner table. We started with soup and salad. I then had a brazed beef dish that had been prepared perfectly and my friend has an equally well prepared salmon. The wine we selected was great and went perfectly with the meal."

Mexique is a full service restaurant offering modern Mexican cuisine with a French influence. French recipes and cooking techniques during the French occupation of Mexico in the 1860's became an important element in the evolution of modern Mexican gastronomy. Come join us at Mexique as we introduce this historical blending of French and Mexican cuisine with a modern personal style by Executive Chef Carlos Gaytan in a fun and casual environment. Walk-ins always welcome, but reservations are highly recommended.

"We went on the recommendation of local friends, who mentioned they had a Michelin Star. Which they do, for two years running. They did not disappoint. While the food was Mexican in nature, it also had an extra refinement that brought it up to another level.
The duck was great and the rabbit starter was great.
We didn't try the wine list, but rather tried two of the 5 Rabbit beers; both were very good and went well with the food.
