PLEASE NOTE: *** AS OF TUESDAY, MARCH 18th, WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE WILL BE OPERATING AS A POPUP DUBBED 'PASTERIA FLORIANA' PREVIEWING THE ITALIAN CUISINE OF CHEF DANIEL HLUSAK

Pulpo offers tapas inspired by modern Spanish gastronomical techniques as well as exotic seafood dishes and a dramatic, open test kitchen that pushes the boundaries of Modern American cuisine. Located in the District's historic Cleveland Park neighborhood, Pulpo's contemporary yet minimalist industrial décor is a unique and exciting addition to the neighborhood. In addition to the main dining room, Pulpo offers a more private dining experience on our mezzanine level which is can also accomodate large private functions. We offer an extensive international wine list, craft and molecular cocktails, and one of the larger offerings of DC's burgeoning brew scene.
"Brunch this past weekend was my third trip up to Cleveland Park to enjoy a meal at Pulpo - and it was great! There is a reasonable set price for anything you want to eat and drink.
The food:
I highly recommend the hash (so good - our waiter proactively brought us an extra). The quinoa and polenta were also really good. There were a few switches (the flatbread ended up being served on an english muffin and they were out of the wheatberry salad) but our server gave us the appropriate heads up and offered other suggestions.
The drinks:
Our glasses were never empty while we were there.
The service:
The service was timely and attentive (see drinks) and our food was served with the right touch of personality.
