We at Petrarca Cucina e Vino restaurant are very proud of our authentic Italian cuisine as well as our extensive wine list which features hundreds of Italian wines, but also includes several other options to meet your desires. We feature homemade pastas such as Lasagna della Mamma and gnocchi, meat and fish specialties, and desserts. Some of our daily specials include items such as burrata with speck, daily risottos, pan- seared duck breast, and grilled Branzino (European striped bass). Our owner, Chef Leonardo, prepares all of our specialties with the knowledge and traditions he brings from his native country Italy.

"My husband and I had a really nice date night at Petrarca. Both our meals were lovely, the salad was delicious, and the wine suggested by the waiter was fantastic. Plus, I thought the price was quite reasonable for NYC. We will definitely go again."

"Being a southerner myself, I have a weakness for Carolina BBQ and an unquenchable thirst for sweet tea, so I'm always up for trying out restaurants that try to replicate these things. The verdict on Jimmy's is better than I thought it would be - the Carolina BBQ was vinegary and the briskey was overdone but still delicious. The sweet tea was diabetes inducing (which I consider this to be near perfection). Things that were lacking - the cornbread was dry as a bone, like it'd been made the night before. The waitresses were slow almost to the point of ignoring their tables. It was fairly busy but not slammed, yet my water glass remained empty for basically the entire meal. I would have given 4 stars but the snail like staff was infuriating."
