"The food and drinks are amazing and the decor is incredible. We had one dish at the table that was just off for some reason (avocado soup) and our waiter handled it well and happily replaced it with something else from the menu. Everything else we ordered was outstanding. I can't wait to go back and try their great happy hour deal!"

Mandu's newest location, opened Jan 2011, is located at the City Vista building in the Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood. Mandu opened on 18th St. in the fall of 2006 by Chef Yesoon Lee and her two children, Jean and Danny. Chef Lee presides over the kitchen making sure that the recipes and dishes taste as she was originally taught being raised in Seoul. Her specialty is creating homestyle Korean dishes that one would enjoy in her own kitchen. Jean and Danny run the operations and service, providing a fun and energetic environment that offers the comfort and ease of a neighborhood restaurant.

"This restaurant is such a steal. We got there in time for happy hour and got appetizers, drinks, and dinner for $20. Can't really beat that! And the food is delish."

Jaleo brings alive the spirit and flavors of Spain with a menu reflecting the rich regional diversity of classical and contemporary Spanish cuisine, under the direction of renowned chef José Andrés. Jaleo offers an impressive assortment of tapas, the traditional small dishes of Spain, as well as savory paellas, superb sangrias and a fine selection of Spanish wines and Sherries in a festive, casual atmosphere.

"Jaleo is probably the best restaurant deal I've come across in DC. This time, the food was only very good instead of excellent though. I'd still go back."

Located in the Heart of Georgetown, Bodega Spanish Tapas and Lounge makes a dramatic design statement with its hammered-copper bars, boldly patterned red-and-black walls, and tables set in intimate alcoves perfect for sharing moderately priced authentic Spanish tapas, traditional paellas and sangria. Don't miss our stylish "Matador Lounge" for dining and cocktails, with an arresting mural of a bullfight arena and opens up to a charming fountain patio - making it a perfect venue for private parties. For corporate lunches, first dates or any other occasion, our guests cannot help but feel transported to the breath-taking Costa del Sol.

"We had a very hard time getting any of the waitstaff to pay attention to us, which put a bit of a damper on the meal. And, despite the brunch menu that open table has on its website, Bodega no longer has its bottomless mimosa brunch. My omlette was good, but overall I do not feel the meal was quite worth the price."

"Well, I do love a $1 bottle of champagne. Especially when most places sell the same quality for $7 a glass. They did get my order wrong and were a little slow to seat us, but we were a big, boysterous group and they tolerated us very well."

"Scion has always been a bit of a staple for brunch when I don't feel like trying somewhere new. This time it deserved it a little less than usual. It was a good meal, don't get me wrong, but they used to have unlimited fruit and a lot more bottomless drink options. I'd still go back but maybe a little less enthusiastically."
