"We had a very hard time getting any of the waitstaff to pay attention to us, which put a bit of a damper on the meal. And, despite the brunch menu that open table has on its website, Bodega no longer has its bottomless mimosa brunch. My omlette was good, but overall I do not feel the meal was quite worth the price."

Mandu's newest location, opened Jan 2011, is located at the City Vista building in the Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood. Mandu opened on 18th St. in the fall of 2006 by Chef Yesoon Lee and her two children, Jean and Danny. Chef Lee presides over the kitchen making sure that the recipes and dishes taste as she was originally taught being raised in Seoul. Her specialty is creating homestyle Korean dishes that one would enjoy in her own kitchen. Jean and Danny run the operations and service, providing a fun and energetic environment that offers the comfort and ease of a neighborhood restaurant.

Re-inventing the concept of a traditional Irish Pub by incorporating a modern flare, Irish Whiskey Public House opened with a mission to capture the essence of a traditional Irish pub while adding creative and progressive elements. <br>We feature modern Irish-American cuisine taking Irish classics and adding a modern spin. Executive Chef Sean McIntosh has created an exciting menu offering traditional Irish dishes that integrate unique and creative contemporary culinary components. Irish Whiskey serves lunch and dinner daily as well as a brunch menu on the weekends. Whiskey pairings will be included with a number of menu items to encourage guests to try whiskeys that complement each dish. <br>Our Dublin Room is the newest spot in the Dupont/Midtown area to offer private space for happy hours, company lunches, birthday parties, or any of your special events. "Well, I do love a $1 bottle of champagne. Especially when most places sell the same quality for $7 a glass. They did get my order wrong and were a little slow to seat us, but we were a big, boysterous group and they tolerated us very well."

"Scion has always been a bit of a staple for brunch when I don't feel like trying somewhere new. This time it deserved it a little less than usual. It was a good meal, don't get me wrong, but they used to have unlimited fruit and a lot more bottomless drink options. I'd still go back but maybe a little less enthusiastically."

"I'd been meaning to try Filomena forever and I'm so happy I finally did! I shared dishes with two friends and each dish was amazing. It's a little pricy for pasta, but it was totally worth it and the portions are huge (I'm looking forward to a carb-y lunch today and probably tomorrow too!). The ambiance is fantastic, very intimate for such a big space, and our waiter was present and attentive without being overbearing. We all decided it is our new go-to special occassion restaurant."

"I was a little under underwhelmed. The food was pretty good, but it didn't blow me away. Our waiter was hysterical, which added to the experience. I wasn't unhappy by any means, but I won't be rushing back."

At Sonoma Restaurant and Wine Bar, our culinary mission is straightforward - use the best local ingredients as simply as possible. New American Cuisine places an emphasis on seasonal ingredients that are regionally available, and our menu changes frequently to reflect the Mid-Atlantic’s offerings. The first floor, a bustling, “upscale-casual” bistro and wine bar, offers superior moderately-priced cuisine by using the best local, organic, and naturally raised ingredients. The menu bears a southern European influence, and is comprised of four groups: cheese and charcuterie, handmade pasta and pizzas, wood-grilled meats and fish, and organic salads and produce. The second floor features a lounge and reserve wine bar along with a dining room for private events. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be taken by telephone or through OpenTable.<br />$20/bottle corkage fee (2 bottle maximum)<br />$3/person cake fee (including cupcakes)
