"Walkers Fish Market advertised that they had new owner and chef so we thought we would give it another try. But we found the food just okay for the price and service is slow considering the restaurant was not very busy. Not much has changed."

Capture a magical moment of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s past as you dine in one of its most historic buildings. The four-diamond Cannery Restaurant of today is reminiscent of its former life as a canning factory in the 1800s, where Niagara peaches and tomatoes were canned until 1957. Its agricultural past has been lovingly retained in its décor of rough hewn wooden beams, rich red brick walls and a hearth at the heart of the restaurant. Chef Mark Longster continues to serve up the best of the region in his menus which feature the freshest local produce and fine wines. Charming and casual Cannery Restaurant is the place to find all your favorites, from succulent steaks to catch of the day to a fabulous Sunday brunch. Chef Longster's food is prepared and presented perfectly, for your ultimate dining experience.

"The food is excellent particularly the prime rib and shrimp appetizer. The server was friendly, attentive and ensured all of our needs were met. The location of the restaurant is very convenient if you are staying at the Pillar and Post. Would definitely recommend."

Nonna’s Cucina Ristorante is a family business dedicated to our Nonna. We serve rustic Italian cuisine, including a great assortment of appetizers, Burlington’s best thin crust pizza, pastas, and meat and fish dishes. No meal would be complete without our signature desserts such as Jose’s Tiramisu and Mrs.G’s Carrot Cake. We also offer a new 3-course pre-fixe menu, a lunch menu and children’s menu. Ask your server about our gluten-free and vegetarian options. Our wine selection includes a wide variety of imported Italian wines. Nonna’s house-made tomato sauce and Jose’s hot sauce is available to take home. If you are looking for a location for a family or business function, our private Wine Room has everything you are looking for, including access to our projector and screen. Check out our weeknight features such as Wine-down Wednesdays or Meatball & Martini Thursdays, and join us Friday and Saturday nights for live music. We look forward to taking care of you – just like Nonna would!

"The food is excellent particularly their pizza. Thursday, Friday and Saturday they have live entertainment. The singer is always fantastic but it is always so loud it is difficult to talk to your dining guest. They just need to turn the volume down a bit and it would be a perfect evening."

The Bauer Kitchen is an energetic up-market 'bistro' set in a SoHo inspired, restored felt factory. The industrial steel, concrete floors, reclaimed wood and custom lighting combine to create a uniquely warm backdrop for your dining experience. Our Executive Chef Michael Hodgson has assembled a spectacular menu of classic items prepared with the freshest local ingredients. An extensive ‘wine by the glass’ menu has been created by our sommelier to pair perfectly with each menu item.

"The food was good but not as good as we expected from the reviews we read. We also expected a more upscale environment. The restaurant is casual but comfortable."

Harpers Landing is an upbeat, casual North American bar & grill, serving market-fresh cuisine, made from scratch & borrowing from the myriad of global cuisines. We offer a satisfying & wide-ranging menu augmented by a deep wine list, 36 by the glass, 16 beers on tap & an extensive selection on liquors. Eight large video monitors broadcast sports, mood-enhancing DJs on weekends & a spectacular heated seasonal patio create an ambiance like no other in the Oakville area.

Alice Fazooli’s is home to hand-crafted recipes served up in an authentic Italian grill experience. Our character shines through with a warm, inviting welcome at the door that is carried throughout the dining experience. Great care is taken to select only the freshest, most flavourful ingredient combinations for all our mouth-watering dishes like the Shrimp Angel Hair Pasta, Fried Calamari, Veal Parmigiana or any of our fresh, thin crust pizzas. We’re dedicated to meeting and then exceeding all expectations.

Strategically located steps from the water, and embraced by greenspace, Spencer's at the Waterfront speaks not only to nature, and all the elements that surround it, but also to the Landmark renowned Earth to Table philosophy. Glass-walled to maximize the scenic nature of its waterfront location, inside and outside, the beauty of the lake and the limitless horizon of the Bay provide the visual inspiration that makes Spencer’s stand out as unique. Fashionably “in-town” and easy to reach,
here’s a place that rises to any occasion. Indeed with its water features, lakeside location and relaxing ambience, on a hot summer night – or
starlit winter night when the tranquility pool has been transformed into an intimate skating rink – this is a destination tailor-made for pleasure.

"The view of the lake is wonderful but the food is just okay.
We ordered the cheese plate for appetizer which was really good but really small for the price.
The burger and fries were good but very messy so don't order if you're there on a date or business lunch.
Skip the caesar salad. The salad was room temperature, not cold, and the kale used in the salad didn't go with the dressing.

"We sat on the patio and the view was gorgeous. One of the members of our party had food allergies and the staff was great. The waitress was fantastic - very cheerful, extremely helpful especially with the allergies and even helped us plan some day trips for the next day. Food was great and the wine and scotch menu were extensive. Only downside were unruly children in the restaurant who were running around rather than eating which the restaurant has no control over."

Trius Winery Restaurant celebrates the relationship between our land, our people, our wines and our food. Chef Frank Dodd showcases locally inspired cuisine made with ingredients from the bounty of Niagara Wine Country, and Winemaker Craig McDonald pairs them with wines made from grapes that grow in the same soil. Extend your stay in Wine Country, and allow us to arrange a private tasting in The Loft or another Winery Experience prior to your meal.

"The view from the patio is gorgeous and the service is very good. They went out of their way to accommodate our allergies. The food was excellent but the menu was a bit limited. One surprise was the wine served with dinner was very reasonably priced and not marked up as we had expected in a winery. Lovely evening. Would definitely recommend."

You must experience this jewel of a restaurant to believe it. What’s more stunning than its romantic Georgian interior adorned with fresh roses, stained glass ceiling, and panoramic waterfront view? Perhaps its exquisite menu of traditional French cuisine .The entire menu changes with the season, yet always showcases the finest ingredients to be found in Niagara and beyond. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week, Tiara also offers a delightful Sunday brunch, pre- and post-theatre dining, and an extensive wine list featuring local vintages and wines from around the world. Your four-diamond culinary extravaganza awaits at Tiara.
