Lenal's Reviews

A casual restaurant serving local and seasonal food. With relationships with about a half dozen local farms, the menu at Sweet Grass Grill varies week to week depending on the daily harvests. Expect seasonal soups and salads and a changing roster of entrees like their signature baby roast chicken and the freshest sustainably-raised fish. The bar, carved out of a single fallen oak tree from the Rockefeller Preserves, features a great cocktail menu, micro brews on draft and bottle, and many wines by the glass.

"Although we had a 7:30 reservation, we had to wait at the bar for a good twenty minutes because no table was available. The hostess was apologetic and when we were seated, a waitress came over to the table almost immediately. Bread was served and drinks arrived. When we ordered, the appetizers came within a fair amount of time. My wife's kale salad had lots of kale but not much else in this "special " salad. We waited approximately 50 minutes for our entrees..bread arrived a second time...and was inhaled. Food was very good but the wait was way too long. Waitress was attentive...the kitchen was way to slow. Loved the ambience...would return, hoping my dinner comes in a more timely fashion on our next visit.."
