"We were celebrating a special occasion, so ordered the 5 course tasting menu for $65. Here's what a tasting menu is supposed to be: It is supposed to be courses created by the chef that are different from the regular menu. It is supposed to include a few surprises, amuses bouche, that are like little gifts. It is supposed to allow time for savoring this experience. Here's what it was at Coast: Five courses that we could have ordered off the menu. The chef deciding what to feed us is not the same as a tasting menu. There was nothing in addition to these 5 dishes. At the end I felt like I had allowed myself to be taken advantage of and greatly regretted the experience."

A relaxing and exotic escape featuring delightful cuisine, spectacular views and elegant ambiance, Rat’s Restaurant is the perfect dining destination. Named for the fabled entertaining character in Kenneth Graham’s children’s classic, The Wind in the Willows, Rat’s Restaurant is designed to give visitors the sense they have stepped into a village reminiscent of the impressionist painter Claude Monet’s beloved town of Giverny. From the moment you arrive you’ll see why this extraordinarily charming venue is a favorite for fine dining, celebrations and corporate events. Rustic fireplaces, country French cuisine, seasonal hand-crafted cocktails and an eclectic beer and wine list are just the beginning. Regarded as one of the most romantic restaurants in our region, Rat’s was named Philadelphia Magazine’s “Most Romantic Restaurant. Rat's Restaurant and catering is proudly managed by Stephen Starr Events

"The setting is beautiful, but I guess you have to request an outdoor table, which I did not. We were, however, seated in a room with lots of windows looking out on the beautiful outdoors. However, the windows were covered by long strings of bead. Whatever decorator thought of this was not thinking about the customer. Also, the "speech" about the food and restaurant that the servers were required to give was ridiculously silly. Who invented this idea that my server would "take care of (me) for the afternoon"? I would recommend this place because of the setting and the food was pretty good, but the experience as a whole was laughable and didn't reflect very well on Grounds for Sculpture or its management."

Kellari Taverna is located in the heart of New York City, three blocks from Grand Central Station, Times Square and the Theater District. The dining room decor evokes a subterranean wine cellar designed with contemporary elegance. Kellari features the traditional Greek taverna specialties, such as grilled whole fish, prime chops and meats, and an eclectic selection of contemporary Hellenic savory appetizers ("mezedes") created by our Corporate Executive Chef, Gregory Zapantis. Our menu also features a variety of Greek cheeses, baked or flamed 'Saganaki' style, as well as a selection of Raw and Marinated seafood. The Kellari dessert menu includes innovative specialties such mastiha pudding and warm sokolata with halva ice cream as as well as traditional favorites such as Baklava and Galaktoboureko. Kellari Taverna offers an extensive international wine list featuring the largest selection of Greek wines available in any U.S. restaurant. About 24 wines are available by-the-glass.

A neighborhood bar restaurant occupying the space of a 1920’s bank. The décor is inspired by nineteenth century Parisian establishments. Terra Cotta textured walls, dimly lit chandelier’s, copper table tops & curved banquette seating create a very unique and intimate setting.
Executive Chef, John J. Loughran formerly of River Café in Brooklyn has created a menu that changes seasonally; using the best of locally sourced ingredients. Chef John’s philosophy, buy local and be creative. This is evident in every dish you taste at Banc Café.
Our cocktails are created using fresh fruit & natural ingredients.
We feel that tasty food & flavorful drinks provided with honest friendly service is a great way to win someone over. We hope that someone is you.
Enjoy!
"This may be a great place, but there was no outdoor seating and the noise level inside was so high (and we wanted to visit with our friends) that we left without even checking in. I really have no idea about the food or service, but I had to give a rating in order to post this review."
