"sat down waited 10 minutes for waiter then another 5 for water and tea. My food was superb Philadelphia roll & duck salad. perfect. wife ordered a sea food salad. she had trouble finding the sea food (in contrast to my duck salad with lots of duck). we paid and she then complained to manager. He invited her back for a free "dish" equivalent in cost to the salad she ordered.
left my credit card called in they did not have it called again they had it. beward

One can hardly walk by a new neighborhood restaurant without noticing it; especially a cozy Italian place on the Upper East side - LUNA ROSSA is a hit in the neighborhood. Developed by Paolo Floess, the long-time Chef,he work the past 17 Years on the Upper East Side its cuisine displays a special blend of contemporary and traditional dishes from all major twenty regions of Italy. It also offers a great selection of exquisite wines from north to south of Italy. LUNA ROSSA offers a very relaxing and mellow atmosphere, decorated with original works of art and delicate colors. "salads were out of this world, red wine from Italy superb but the main courses were off. We ordered what we usually ordered. The duck breast was fair, the ravioli in red sauce lacked something and my wife's shrimp dish was nothing to write home about. Maybe they had a different chef. Usually the food is outstanding."

"Located in New York City's premiere 'suburban'
oasis, Serafina Upper West brings energy to the ground floor of On the Ave Hotel. Inhabited by happy families and young professionals, this neighborhood houses some of the city's finest schools and cultural centers. Vibrant frescos grace the walls while the pizza oven and its aroma is the center of attraction. Offering delicious Northern Italian cuisine, Serafina Upper West prepares fresh pastas, pizzas, seafood and meats. Chose from breakfast, lunch or dinner and dine in or take-out.
Serafina Upper West is a friendly destination for local families, professionals, visitors and everyone craving a fabulous Italian meal.
Behind a door you can also find "Geisha Table". A small version of the popular Geisha on 61st street. The name is to honor the unique communal table at the center of the space. A true Izakaya, Geisha Table is fun, informal and offers delicious classic Izakaya dishes interpreted by Geisha's Chefs"
