CharlestownLocal's Reviews

We're pretty lucky in this little corner of the world. Sandwiched between the fishing fleets of Stonington and Point Judith, we are fortunate to have access to some of the best and freshest seafood in the world. Oysters from Charlestown. Tautog and striped bass from Point Judith. Sourcing only the finest local ingredients.

We look forward to serving you.
"Always enjoy dining at the Goose. Raw bar is outstanding. Asian calamari was a hit at the table. Staff works hard to please."

"Always a great place to eat and just around the corner from home. Gets a little noisy, but there are pockets where the noise level is muted. Oysters are superb?"

Hudson at Haymount House features the finest in farm to table dining in a setting of "casual grandeur" as noted by The New York Times in awarding Hudson a "Don't Miss" rating, the highest rating for Westchester restaurants.

We are an "a la carte" restaurant providing a relaxed and inviting atmosphere in a beautifully restored, Southern colonial style estate that enjoys breathtaking Hudson River views.

Guests can select from our signature cocktail menu of prohibition era and "farm to glass" drinks and dine on everything from light appetizers to the full Hudson farm to table menu - complete with expert wine pairings from our sommelier.

Private dining room is also available on our second floor.

"Love the food. Place is well maintained. Continue to hope that the service and finer touches are added to complete the experience. Menu had stains, greeter was unkempt, service was spotty. Took two requests and more that 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee at brunch. We really want this wonderful historic restaurant to succeed."
