Utsav is a 2-storey restaurant in the heart of Times Square. There is a cozy lounge on the lower level with outdoor seating available in the summer. The upstairs main dining room is beautiful and spacious overlooking an open air plaza through floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The main dining room can accommodate upto 200 guests. There are booths along the windows overlooking 46th and 47th streets. There is a private party room available for upto 80 people & a smaller one for 35 people. A full restaurant buyout is possible on Saturday & Sunday for lunch as well as Sunday dinner.

"Utsav is a welcome choice in the Times Square area, serving good indian food in attractive surroundings. The prix fixe is a good deal at $35. While servers are pleasant, we have repeatedly had trouble getting them to bring our check and dessert in time for us to get to our curtain in time. Once we actually missed the curtain due to Utsav's pickiness. This time we immediately told the servers and maître d' when our curtain was and that we needed to be out in time. Appetizers and main dishes came a timely way, but we had to ask five different people to bring dessert and the check. They only arrived when I was much ruder about demanding service than I enjoy being. Yes, it was Valentines Day but this has happened nearly every time we go. Yet, it is very convenient to several theaters and the pleasant ambiance makes conversation enjoyable, so we return."
